I work at the airport. The Better Red Project should have been called Worst Red. Had to pay for Uber because of a safety drill they did on a Sunday, so I get that. Last Sunday, they were backed up on the max line, and I arrived 13 minutes late. Left work later that evening, and the train I needed was canceled, so I waited 40 minutes. Today, I get to Pioneer Square to catch the red line, and the 1:33pm train never arrives. I catch a blue line to to Gateway, and wait for the red line. A red line train arrives, but it says it's going to Beaverton, so I don't get on. Guess what, it takes off to PDX. I think it's time to buy a car again. Saving money to be unreliably late on trimet is not worth it. I'm now ineligible for employer education benefits for 6 months because of them.

Worst job ever. Toxic politics. Dangerous. Saftey is a low priority. Supervisors encouraged to harass and bully drivers. COVID - 19 high risk. High stress.

I called administrative offices, never got to the right end of the business. Kept switching me to customer service for ridership. Lousy ineffective phone service!

Amazing area of reach, fairly fast for Light Rail... TriMet should think about advancing towards a Full-Scale Metro system with Full Grade Seperation, Faster speeds, and Express services.

I take the 7:14am bus #61 from Beaverton Transit Center to Marquam Hill every morning on my way to work. We’ve had a variety of drivers with various skills since August of 2021. However, we got a new driver in September 2021, his name is Joseph, and he’s the most polite, best driver, considerate, nice and very professional. He’s going to drive us for about 4 months. I want to thank him for his great quality of driving and service to the community.

Update: With the email provided at the administrative office, I was finally contacted. I feel that maybe it would be in their best interest to overhaul their website to improve communications. Aside from that I will keep everyone posted on this process as I am excited to transition to long haul truck driving to local bud driving.Tried to apply. Went through the interview process while at their job fair on 05/17/22. They stated I was conditionally hired. Multiple emails sent since I haven’t received any word. Went to this office and was told the email on their website won’t get a response, and since email is their only form of communication, she gave me yet another email address. So if you’re wondering why there is a lack of bus drivers, it’s not because we aren’t applying, instead it’s due to the lack of Tri-Met’s follow through.

no Touring information and Tri-met Logo'ed merchandise. Feels like the End of the World in that line

i got a ticket on a day i paid my fare. the fare enforcer refused to give me a copy. the ticket never arrived. trimet refused to give me a copy or alternate means to resolve the ticket after multiple requests. 5 years later, they charged me $400 and reported a mendacious $5K default to the credit bureau. i worked in the public transit sector so I repeatedly pursued resolving this in good faith but these guys are only in it to jack up their false penalty charges. sadly this corporation is the bottom of the barrel, hiring the most disgusting vendors they can find. a shameful criminal disgrace defrauding the public

I lost an article on bus 19 and called to see if it had been turned in by someone. The man who took my call was very professional and nice. The only draw back is that Love st and Found will not return calls and they are now closed on weekend..

The worst metro transit I've ever witnessed. Behind schedule, dismal inclement weather service and massive waste of taxpayer funds (MAX). The bus drivers are rude to passengers and even worse to fellow road vehicles. It's common for busses to cross over the double yellow line into oncoming traffic and be upset with the incoming drivers. Need to be let in in front of a bus during a merge? That's not going to happen. Ever. What does one expect given the liberal leadership though?

2020 Update: Trimet has discontinued this practice & we no longer have to watch fellow citizens rounded up & humiliated. Thank you for continuing to operate in a pandemic & blocking out seats to ensure social distance.2019 Comment: Trimet contributes to systemic prejudice and oppression in a BIG way. I ride less and less, which means I shop local less and less. I don't like being complicit by giving them $$$ & I will not be silent next time I see their jackboots rounding people up. I will record & take names.See Willamette Weekly article: Thirteen Oregon Lawmakers Call On Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum To Stop TriMet’s Random Stops To Check Fares"A policy of sweeping fare enforcement searches violates the constitutional rights of transit riders," they write.
