I would highly recommend you share your gas receipt with the team at this U-Haul location. I was still charged a fuel surcharge even after putting 3.5 gallons (at their own pump!) on a 34 mile trip. I returned the van without an attendant checking the equipment back in, or else I would have disputed it in person. The check-in process was also slow - the manager blamed their internet speed, but I found it unprofessional - the whole experience.

I had a fantastic experience renting a uhaul van from this location with the help of Kristine. She was extremely friendly, accommodating, and pleasant to interact with. The van was in great condition and even had a little extra gas in it so I didn’t have to fill up after. Everything went seamlessly! Thank you again to Kris!

I arrived at 2:40p for a van rental for 3:00p. The gentleman in front of me had also reserved a van as well. One problem. There were no vans available for either of us. No problem, we’ll just switch to another vehicle. Nope, we were told all 5 of the other u-haul vehicles in the parking lot were unavailable due to computer issues. They said they would try to work it out. We sat there a little over an hour and waited. At 4:30p almost 2 hours after I got there I left with no vehicle.There is clearly a lack of care from upper management to provide employees with the tools they need to serve customers.I wanted to state that the employees who were at this location at the time I was there were absolutely lovely. They were going above and beyond what they were asked to do. Quite frankly they deserve a raise.Please save yourself 2 hours and go to a real U-Haul location. Thanks.

Needed a last minute truck today. Made the reservation via the 1-800 number I found online because I had many questions. I was connected to an assistant right away and she was very helpful in answering my questions and securing my reservation at the 76 Station, where they offer U-Haul vehicles. When I arrived, the truck I reserved was waiting for me, gassed up and ready to drive away. I didn't have to maneuver the truck out from some small space and was able to just float on out of there with ease. Inside the store, a lovely woman (whose name I didn't catch) and Richard checked my reservation for me and made sure all my questions were answered. They were kind and courteous and made the transaction flow smoothly. When I went out to inspect the truck, I needed help with the roll gate and Richard came running over to assist me without me having to ask. I felt confident when I left. The truck mileage was spot on, gas gage was set to full, cab was clean. When we got back with the truck, Kaya was there to greet me and my husband with a smile and courtesy. He asked us how it all went, gassed the truck back up for us, asked us if we had any questions and then took it from there. We didn't have to park the truck or work out any details. It was easy and we appreciated his friendly attitude. These guys are getting cookies from me when I start up my holiday baking! Thanks for your help today, much appreciated.

First off no one at this location understands what they are doing there, but I'm here to warn you not to rent a U-Haul from this location. They lie to you and tell you that they are putting a $100 something down as a deposit for your U-Haul. What they don't tell you is that the charge has to manually be taken off. Which the classic response of, "oh we don't handle that here, I'll give you the phone number of the U-Haul that does." What the hell does that mean? Long story short. This was a nightmare. A 2 hour uhaul rental cost me $154

Checking my email reservation I saw that the company had switched the truck I ordered from a 15' with a ramp to a 10' without. Huge problem for my move. The man I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude and couldn't even find my order for quite some time. He then actually had the nerve to ask me if I had made the reservation correctly and that I had to call other stores myself to find out who had a 15' truck. Very poor customer service. My only guess on the truck is that they changed it when they didn't have availability because he said they don't normally carry large trucks ever. Maybe call and ask before changing someone's reservation?!

If you aren't in a hurry and you like being talked to like a child, then this is the place for you. We brought the uhaul back after using a total of 10miles and were berated for not filling the tank. We were told it was a $30 charge to have them fill the truck. That was a lie. Then apparently there was "a little bit" of dirt in the back of the truck that she decided to "let go without the extra charge". I've left an apartment dirtier and not been charged for cleaning (are we eating off this floor??!!") Thanks for nothing MARY.

The worst Uhaul experience I've ever had. Called to confirm they had a truck, waa told they had several. Arrived 15 minutes later and was told they didn't think they had any. I asked about a truck I saw and the clerk said he would check on it. He rented me the truck, did not ask me how long I needed it, just set it for 4 hours. I had to have him change it. Also, despite UHaul's policy (outlined on their website) that they don't charge a deposit when using a debit card, this location will try to charge you a 100 mile deposit. When I did finally get the truck after arguing about the deposit, I got on my way to pick yp my furniture. It's July. It's hot. Portland traffic is in full effect. And now I find out this truck has no air Not no AC, the fan does not turn on. I reported this upon returning the truck and requested they waive the additional mileage charge and any refueling charge (I had used a small amount of gas). They said they'd have to ask the manager. When he came out he did not acknowledge me. Went to the truck and sat out there for 20 minutes doing who knows what. I finally went out to ask him if we were good. He said yes. I left. Then this morning I get an email saying I owe UHaul $42. This guy needs his franchise revoked. I have rented from UHaul several times before from the Powell blvd location and never had any problems. UHaul's corporate response to this matter was to tell me tough cookies. So now I won't even use Uhaul at all.

I called this Uhaul about a dozen times and the call kept cutting off before someone even answered or right when they answered it would immediately hang up! There is either something wrong with their phones or somebody there is purposely just hanging up to avoid getting the business. Seems like a strange business strategy to me!!!! I finally spoke to an Ellie who works there and she was helpful enough in getting my moving truck reserved; however, I couldn't help but feel like she was just rushing to get me off the phone. Hopefully my reservation actually goes through...
