Very easy U-Haul rental experience for me. Reserved a 10-ft truck the day before, and picked it up right on time. No issues whatsoever.
Yes, It is connected to a small Mexican market that is cluttered and English is definitely not the first language. If you've ever been to Mexico you'll feel right at home. But the young man in the U-Haul room next door spoke perfect English and checked us in and got us going quickly and easily. The few U-Haul trucks share the gravel parking lot with the market.

Had a UHaul reservation. They had the trailer, but at a DIFFERENT LOCATION! I wouldn't have minded, but was not notified in advance, so we had to drive back towards where we came from. Wasted over 45 mins, including the time trying to figure out where the trailer was, delaying the start of our trip as planned.

Prepaid for an appointment for a hitch install online. Show up for the confirmed appointment, "the system automatically changed your appointment date because the parts haven't arrived." No one thought to inform me. David (the owner) offered a 23 dollar discount for the inconvenience. That was never credited to my card. I arrive for the new appointment. I'm told it will be over 5 hours before it's ready. I inform them that the online appointment form asks you if it will be a drop off or if you will be waiting. Presumably this is so you can schedule people who will be waiting when there can be a quick turnaround. The clerk tells me he didn't know that. He goes to "see what he can do". Comes back and simply restates that it'll be 5 hours. I tried to keep this as concise as possible but suffice to say, terrible experience. No interest in creating a positive experience for customers.

The worst. We’ve made 4 reservations over 4 months to have a hitch installed and every time we show up they’ve made some mistake and don’t have the part or don’t have us in the system. 4 months! 4 reservations! I normally don’t write bad reviews but this place and their staff deserve one.

Terrible customer service!! They take reservations on equipment that they don't even have available. This place is a trainwreck and a total waste of time.

Not really sure why this place exists. Truck was scheduled for pickup at 9am. 9:32 nobody was even in the store next to the location or the location itself. Someone walked from around back and pretended to help us on the phone. We left to go rent on 74th and sandy. Really strange experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is a convenient store and technically a contractor from Uhaul. Had a reservation a few weeks ago. When I arrived, the workers at the store are all busy working on the convenient store side. Took them about 20 minutes to wrap up their stuff and start proceeding my check-in.On the other hand my bill was way higher than my reservation confirmed amount, pretty bs. Since I already have a whole moving plan today so probably I have to just pay more in order to proceed into my day?

Amazing service! Open late! If you ever need to move a modest space or rent a flatbed for small-scale towing, I highly, higly recommend renting from these folks. Family-run and it really shows. Every one of the staff who helped us over the 5 days we rented our truck were friendly and accomodating. We only meant to rent it for one day, but they were happy to work with us on extending our rental and adding miles to our usage. I have worked over 20 years in customer service, and I have rarely been so impressed. If I could give 11 stars, I would. Thanks so much for all your help!! Y'all were life savers :)
