Rude employees at this location! “ zoom in, you see right there where it says customer packed! That’s you!” I’m going to have to charge you $2 for this to tape the lid of the box closed. It was the tone and demeanor with body language. This gentleman needs some customer service training.

The store clerk opened the doors promptly with a warm welcome and a great smile.

Dropped off an extra urgent item for next day air well before the cut off (2:30pm) and IT DIDNT ARRIVE ON TIME because they didn't acknowledge they received the item till after 10:30PM. This item was a proposal for a job that needed to arrive by 2pm the next day and the label we purchased would have delivered it at 10:30AM. I scanned it in as directed. Handed it to a staff member since it wasn't clear where to put the package after scanning since there were boxes everywhere and no clear spot. The guy behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me when I entered, and basically ignored me after scanning too. This mismanagement of our item has likely cost us important work and income for our company. I will NEVER use this location again. It's an absolute mess. Woodstock location is far superior.

Had a very good experience yesterday. The lady helping me ship a package across the country first gave me a little discount (AARP, I'm not a member but in my fifties) noticing how surprised I was at the shipping cost. Not only that -- but then she was so patient and respectful of me when I called the store later the same day and likely sounded upset (I was frustrated) telling her I've gotten all these different, much lower, shipping rates off of a UPS website & by speaking with UPS call center...
Anyway -- thank you (to her & staff @ the Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR store) for all your help & for putting up with me!!!

I was in the Hawthorne UPS store recently and treated badly by one of the female staff there. She is an unhappy person, maybe dislikes her job and the people that depend upon her for customer service, and probably shouldn't be working in a customer service capacity. i hope she gets the help she needs to become a more civil person. I use 3 different UPS stores to send and recieve packages and the other 2 stores, Woodstock and SE Powell Blvd/82nd have fabulous staff.

Cashier who helped me was on her phone during the interaction clearly looking at texts. Very unwelcoming distracted vibe and unhelpful in terms of explaining costs and options, almost had me send for wrong date. It was going to be at cheapest $75 for four day delivery, went to USPS and it was next day for $32. Though I live close, won’t be using again.

I came in today needing help with a return for one of my packages as it was super heavy and large and the person at the front, JOSEPH, was extremely rude like he always tends to be. This time, I just needed some quick help because it was large and hard for me to hold and he refused to help and basically laughed in my face then hid in the back when I asked what his name was. I complained to the UPS corporate about him as well. What if an elderly or disabled person came in needing help? There was NO ONE else in the store. Totally unacceptable and embarrassing to have him represent this store. I would recommend going to another location until they get rid of this person.
