If you've ever had true Swiss or French style fondue, you'll inevitably be disappointed by Urban Fondue. The cheese portion tasted most like melted Velveeta. The cast iron pots are dilapidated and I had some concerns about paint chipping off and into our food. The main course entree broth was flavorless and watered down. The entrees themselves were just ok, but felt incredibly cheap with the random pasta they add on for bulk.Overall, this restaurant somehow manages to be expensive but feel like a cheap restaurant. There's nothing authentic about it.Regarding service - the busboys and gentlemen serving water were super kind and helpful. However, the waitress we had was weird, seemed to be in a mood, and slow to take our order.2/10, would not recommend.

Better than Melting pot and more affordable! Our waitress, I wish I could remember her name, but she was amazing and super helpful with helping us understand the menu!My fiance and I usually go to the Melting Pot for our anniversary, but we'll be coming here from now on!

Urban Fondue is the perfect restaurant for a special night out or celebration. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food is superb and has a better price point than other fondue restaurants.

My partner and I had a reservation for 8:30. This dinner was very important to us because we chose to celebrate v-day two days later to avoid crowds, we dressed up and we’re excited for our first fondu experience. When we got there we were seated pretty quickly due to us having a reservation, however It took 15 minutes for them to ask what we would like to drink while we watched people come after us be served food and drink immediately. We were there for about 40 minutes before we even met our waitress to order food. The cheese fondu was good, we finished that and sat for awhile again before being asked what we’d like our entree to be. We ordered the most expensive option of assorted meats and seafood. At this point we had been there for two hours and had only Been served fondu and one round of drinks. She brought out the sauces and RAW meat the food sat at our table for 20 plus minutes due to her saying the broth wasn’t ready yet. Once we did get the broth the flame went out under it so it wasn’t adequate cooking temp. Overall a pretty bad experience. She sat the desert menu at our table and we weren’t able to order desert until 11:30 pm a hour and half after they closed due to her not coming to our table. We ended up getting the check and dessert to go. We left feeling exhausted and pretty disappointed..I want to add that I was extremely nauseous after the dinner I’m not sure if it was due to the raw meat sitting for so long but we won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend. We didn’t complain to staff just wanted to get out of there. However She did take our drinks off the tab as an apology which was kind.

We ate the first time. Nice and cozy ambiance. The service was excellent. It is a unique experience to eat in non-traditional settings. We have tried cheese with cauliflower and bread. Chicken and tomatoes broth were excellent to cook veggies , patatoes, and chicken . They have provided a 3-minute clock to monitor cooking. Variety of sauces were very good and authentic .Vegetarian options: Tofu , veggies are in option .

Honestly, it’s very unlikely I’ll be back unless it’s an evening where I have no plans or responsibility the next day. On a slow evening (we got seated there was maybe 8 other groups— about half through). It took 3 hours from start to finish. We wanted fun evening, but not a 3 hour meal. Wasn’t worth it at all. It wasn’t worth the meal price, experience, or time for dinner. The entree with the broth was super mediocre. The meat wasn’t tender and overcooked WAY too easily. The cheese was def the star. So maybe a good spot for a cocktail + cheese and then I’d bounce. That was the only reasonable portion.I fear if we had stayed for desert it would’ve taken 4 hours for the entire meal.Mid.

Our entire experience took over 2 hours. Granted it was a four course meal but the timing of everything just took way too long. The food and drinks were delicious but having to wait in between each course and waiting to get new drinks was very much a let down

We had a really wonderful experience here for a birthday. The food, ambiance and service were great! It was a really fun experience too! Our server Ava was so incredible! She should get a raise! We are looking forward to coming back! :)Parking: Parking can be tough, I recommend planning ahead and getting there early.

Nice place to have fondue. The cheese fondue was delicious. 5 stars for the cheese! We had it with bread, veggies, and fruit. The dinner portion, I wasn’t personally as thrilled with. It was really hard to skewer the raw meat and some of the veggies, and you could really only cook a few pieces of food at a time. I dropped the raw meat on my plate, trying to skewer it, and had to get a new plate, ? It was impossible to skewer without touching the meat, too. I would definitely go back for the cheese fondue and the dessert though.. And was a fun experience overall with lots of laughs.Parking: Parking was extremely difficult to find. And you don't want to park in the Trader Joe's parking lot because you could be towed. The waitress said she has seen it happen before. You just have to circle around the block until you can grab a spot.

A+ quality, A+ service, a little pricey but it's well worth it! Been coming here since 2018 and not once had a bad experience. It may be a little loud inside for some, but it's a fondue restaurant. You're supposed to be talking and having a fun time!

Got there at 8:30 it wasn’t busy and it was pouring down rain, we had walked 30 minutes from the Nines hotel only to be told we couldn’t eat, only dessert. You should always allow people in and not turn away business, especially 30 minutes before closing.

Me and my partner came here for an anniversary dinner, and it was a great experience! Food was amazing and a decent price, the process was easy and fun, and our waitress, Kara, was so kind and helpful. Will definitely return.
