I was expecting expedited mail that were sent out from the agency 6/10/2025. These documents should have been either held at the USPS facility per previous discussions with the staff, or brought to the apartment and left with the leasing agent. These documents, plus a substantial number of others, eventually made their way to me on *7/31/2025*. This is unacceptable. I checked in with the USPS facility several times, and was told conflicting information that absolutely no mail was being held. I'm not sure why this happened, but I have lost a lot of trust in this facility.

This has been my neighborhood post office for years and it’s almost always the same crew and I just think they deserve some appreciation. They’re always so patient and helpful and funny and they put up with a LOT. Shout out to the Kilpatrick USPS squad.

They seem to have gotten rid of their exterior drop boxes and have no other way to drop off mail outside of business hours? Which is .... Inconvenient. 5 stars because I have no beef with USPS or this location outside of the inability to give them my mail

Very polite and professional service here. I also appreciate the huge variety of stamps- truly old school- you usually have to go online for this kind of variety.

They don't pick up the phones during operable hours, the woman at the front desk gave me attitude the immediate second I walked up for literally no reason.

I don't often leave a 1 star review, but this location certainly earned it. Well done, the short version is they couldn't find my package the first time, to which I spent 4+ hours running around to different offices (because they told me it was sent to my old address) only to wind up back here, which they then somehow miraculously found it the second time.
Since I'm a fan of venting on the internet, here's the full story for your reading pleasure... After waiting in line for 20 minutes for a simple package pickup that had the wrong address on it from the sender and the site saying it was held at this facility, I went down to check myself... They couldn't find my package despite looking for it "in the back" and checking their PC information (which they just told me the same thing the site did). They then told me they were certain it was being shipped to my old address for some reason.
After going on a chase across Vancouver and Portland to various USPS offices looking my package for 4 hours, one of the Vancouver post offices informed me that my package WAS at THIS location (the first one I visited). This, after showing multiple people my tracking number on my phone and them calling up the delivery guy directly who I then met physically at my mailbox and we proceeded to check all of the other boxes for my package.
So I drive BACK to this post office, and after waiting in line for another 30 minutes the guy hands it off to his coworker to check the back, who then found my package... The reason? Despite giving the tracking number the first time, they must have looked it up based off my address rather than the number I provided them, because the package I went looking all over town for was my brother's package.
I would be upset, but I'm actually impressed

Umm can someone tell me why I got this and why the postman didn't go up the elevator and come to my apartment as I live in an APARTMENT??? I have been home all morning as I work from home. This package contains medication that I have been waiting for. And I didn't even get a chance to sign for it!!
