refuses to maintain their equipment, states they do not have the money for maintenance or repairs of their own equipment. Horrible attitude. Discusting customer service attitude of employee. Employee stated it's not their problem if customer can't receive mail if the usps equipment fails. Offered no alternative ways to recieve mail either.

Garbage attitude on the part of Betsy regarding not being able cash postal money orders. Tells the customer that the whole post office only has 100 in cash and she can't help me. I have to cash it another way. Federal employees forget that they work for the people and most hate the people they work for.

Update holiday hours on the website. It claimed being open new years day, absolutely wasn't.

I dread coming here any time I know I’m going to have to deal with one of the employees. With the exception of the man who’s worked here several years, everyone has been awful and rude. Today (Saturday) I rang the service bell to let them know one of my package clogged the package drop box. The woman who answered at the window basically me bit my head off. I offered to give her the rest of my package so that they couldn’t clog the drop box again…she refused them saying she didn’t want to carry them and that I can just use the drop box. Just prepare yourself to deal with grinches when you come here.

Even when busy, this post office offers friendly and quick services. I’ve witnessed impatient and rude customers occasionally at this branch, but the staff is always patient and professional.

DO NOT USE THE BLUE MAILBOX BEHIND THE POST OFFICE FOR MAIL DROP OFF! I left a return in the mailbox and it got stolen, I lost $100 on that return. Post office is essentially useless and no help. I called for 45 minutes they don’t answer, so I had to drive there to speak to someone. I went to the post office they had me wait for 20 minutes to speak to a manager, so they could eventually tell me he wasn’t going to come speak with me since he was too busy. I had also received 3 different people’s mail in my mailbox in a matter of a week, including someone’s car registration. It’s very concerning that the post office is this much of a mess. I have lost all trust in USPS.

Doesn't honor a change of address, sending packages to old addresses and then taking a week to respond! Meanwhile your package is lost and stolen with no compensation from USPS. Also, despite having a local phone number this post office does not answer it.

USPS is obviously underfunded and consistently understaffed here in St Johns, but after they lost my father's birth certificate which I sent Priority Mail, and witnessing the absolute lack of process and collaboration between St Johns where I locally sent from bound for New York City, it's clear that you cannot depend of USPS St Johns for handling sensitive mail. Support team for NY and PDX stations point the finger at each other with zero recourse for me.While the supervisor in St Johns was courteous, it's clear that they have absolutely no support when it comes to lost priority mail, pointing you to dead-end web portals for lost mail. What's the point of priority if there's not additional safeguards?!I hate to support UPS or FedEx over my local USPS, but I have no confidence in this branch and they have caused me months of delays for the most simple step of my process: send the priority mail, track it, deliver it.

Another "lost" package. This is the 6th package St John's USPS has lost in the last 6 months. They claim they have delivered my packages to another customer and just hoping that the other customer will return them. Their internal processes seriously need to be reviewed and updated. I pay for a post office box for safe, secure delivery of my mail. This is no different than having my package delivered to my front door, then having it stolen. Very concerning how this post office is being managed.

I had three international packages. The lady who helped me was very courteous, knowledgeable, and intelligent. When i finished she thank everyone in the line for their patience. The number of people had grown from one to five, while she was serving me. She asked the next customer to come in the back and help her to get his mail, while he was letting him in, i asked where i can get more international mailing forms and she said at her desk, so i waited behind the 4 customers. But she remembered me and grabbed the forms and gave them to me. I did not have to wait. I wonder if she was the only staff st the post office, maybe it was lunch time.

This post office has been on a steady decline for awhile. Lobby rarely open when it's supposed to. Packages rarely scanned in. Pandemic no longer an excuse IMO.

Post office failed to scan package dropped off at their package chute inside the front door. Package is now lost. I have no record of it going out and USPS online says the tracking number is not valid. If you use Click n Ship, make sure you wait in line at a post office to get your package scanned. Otherwise, 50% of the time, if package is dropped off in the package slot, it will not be scanned by an employee there, or at the main post office. Also. Click n Ship is a service that is not supported or connected to USPS offices. They only thing they can rely on is the tracking number. And if it's not scanned, they are not responsible. Filing a claim through click n ship is a nightmare and they say that I never sent the package, so now I am out $100 for shipment and the items shipped. This is the second time this has happened. USPS has lost my business.
