Best we've found in the last few years. All good vets are so busy these days, staffing problems etc. They're handling it.

We love this place!! We are so thankful we found them when we got our puppy, Jasper. They have been nothing but accommodating, patient, loving and are excellent in communication and care. When they say fear free, they mean it. They have some of the most excellent staff I’ve ever encountered. Our dog LOVES going here. It’s like an absolute treat for him. Dr Drennen and Dr Tracy are literal life savers. They’ve been able to squeeze us in when we really needed it, and have taken the time to properly diagnose him and treat him. I can’t speak highly enough about them. I love that they take precautions in keeping everyone safe, and their texting app makes communication so easy. I cannot recommend this place enough. There’s a reason why we continue to go here even though it’s a commute for us after we moved.

Both of my dogs have had great experiences at this vet. Their "fear free" experience is what leads to my dogs eagerly entering the building. They clearly care about the pets here, and take past behavior into account to make each visit as drama-free as possible. They allow for a variety of snacks to positively reinforce your pets. They have a variety of different treatments they can provide your dogs as well. The only downside is wait time for appointments can be long, but the service is incredible.

Took our dog for his annual check-up and vaccination visit, and had a fantastic experience. James (the vet tech) clearly adores animals and was fantastic and patient. Dr Drennan took the time to check for any issues and gave us plenty of information to make informed decisions about our dog's care and treatment.I did need to schedule the standard check-up appointment 6 weeks out because they are a busy clinic (for good reason, and you never feel rushed during the appointment). If you have an urgent or concerning issue I know they would find a way to see the animal.

Viking Vet is hands down the best vet I have ever interacted with. They are competent, caring and talented folks that really care about the well-being of their patients. They go above and beyond. They give great advice and they are conscientious of both the pet and pet owners needs. Frankly, a number of other healthcare providers, pets, humans or otherwise could take note of their approach.I'd like to specially call out James our Vet Tech and Dr. Danielle Drennen. James went above and beyond and we couldn't be more happy. Dr. Drennen was knowledgeable, caring and also went that extra mile letting me know she cares. There are probably other good Vets out there but I just don't think you're going to find a better one easily.Take care all

We love this place. Our dog requires a lot of special care and they are very accommodating. I would say advocate for yourself (and dont feel bad for it) as always and do whats best for you regardless because you are the customer and pet care is vital and expensive. And you know your dog the best. We have had five cats, two dogs here during our three years at mostly Viking. We adopt a lot of elderly cats or tough cases (potty training, behavioral). We have a ranch and more animals so we are def animal lovers. They have a really great entry policy for reactive dogs. They are great at letting you know what the options are, and just all around it has been a mostly awesome experience. Not everyone has the range and the compassion that Viking has.

Update 7/14/23: still great care for my senior lab. Thorough routine exam and answered all my many questions. We have a good care plan now. Thanks!Very caring group of vets and techs. They are certified Fear Free. We've had excellent care for our older dog who has a lot of chronic medical issues and anxiety.

My pups are very anxious. The staff at Viking were awesome at putting them at ease. They kept them together, scheduled the appointment so they didn't interact with other animals, and supported their people being present for the exam.

We have had the absolute pleasure of working with Trinity and Dr. Hendricks with our dog. She has always been a nervous pup but after a bad experience at a previous vet, she became much worse and vet appointments were a nightmare. We never thought we would find a group of people that were so understanding and care as much about our dog being happy and comfortable as we do. No practice we have ever been to for our cats or dog have ever matched the quality of care as Viking. Everyone we have worked with has taken their time with her, made sure she had a good experience and made sure my husband and I were heard and understood and that all of us left feeling comfortable. We have worked with Trinity the most and we just love working with her. She's wonderful at what she does, my husband and I feel totally comfortable with her and our pup now knows that their office means she gets to see her "Friend" and happily enters the building and exam rooms. We couldn't recommend Viking Vet Care more for anxious pups and are thankful to have found a team that truly cares about our dog and her progress.

I can say enough good things about this place. My Boxer was basically written off at another vet because he was so terrified. He would shake and drool and urinate on himself. It was heartbreaking. After reading about Viking, I felt a little hope—a sliver at best. Trinity and Dr. Hendricks are amazing. They took TIME with my dog, Vito. They didn’t rush the process. I honestly wasn’t expecting to get anything done on this first visit, but these women were able to get an exam done, and vaccines with zero problems or fear from Vito. I was truly amazed and so happy that we finally found a vet home. Thank you guys, so much. I never thought we would leave the vet feeling BETTER, not worse. We are so very grateful for you both! (In short, if you have a terrified dog, Viking is the place for you. Seriously. Go.)

We have been clients of Dr. Rosie Gilbert, and Viking Veterinary care for a number of years. We have never received the type of service that we received from her and her associates at any other veterinary service. When my pets need to see a vet I can’t think of anyone else that I would trust more. They truly care for each and every animal that they see.

Switching to Viking changed the game for my two nervous senior pups. Dr. Drennen and Dr. Gilbert are so knowledgeable and up-to-date on developments in veterinary medicine and I can always trust that I am getting the most relevant and current advice. They take their Fear Free status seriously and truly uphold those ethical standards during every visit. They never try to push either of my dogs to do something they're not comfortable with and always use a combination of gentle handling techniques and medication to make appointments as stress-free as possible. Their space is so calming and they always allow me to be present and help with all possible procedures, which really helps reduce my dog's stress about being at the vet. I always leave feeling relieved and grateful that I found a practice that has standards as high as I do when it comes to caring for my animals. Thank you Viking team!

Do not recommend. Came in for rabies titer but they could not get the blood drawn. They pierced the needle through my 5 lb dogs multiple times (2 times each) over two days but did not manage to draw blood because my dog was “screaming” and “saying no”. Of course dog will be afraid of blood draw but the dog will not be happy and smiling. Piercing him so many times for nothing is more traumatizing than piercing him once and just drawing the necessary blood. In the end spent money here for nothing. Had to find another vet. Also, biggest issue is they quoted me X amount and when I arrived the amount came to 3X. Quite unethical and unprofessional

The worst vet I ever been. Their techniques are very bad for animals. My dog is traumatized now. I came for a blood test ... my dog screams when he takes blood, even I scream when I see needles because I don't like them lol... They pierced his skin on his paws +4 times in 2 days. And they said the dog was stressed and they only tried 3 times per day because my dog SAID NO…. in my life I have not heard any greater stupidity. After 4 stabs he is terrified and traumatized. Massacre!!! I went to another vet who took blood in 30s with no stress no squeezing and bad holding. DON'T come to those butchers !!!They wanted to cheat us for money. On the phone the total price was below $ 200 when we arrived it increased to $ 370 because we had been misinformed. Then we asked lady to verify it again, it came with a price of $ 422, of which we have to send a blood sample at our own cost, about $ 20-90 or they can do it for $ 150. If you want to lose your money and give your animal to the butcher COME HERE.
