The pharmacy at this location is AWFUL. They have a sign posted saying they welcome walk-ins for vaccines but when you arrive, they will tell you they’re too busy. So I made an appointment, showed up early, checked in on their online system and waited and waited and waited. Then they suggested I didn’t fully sign in. I showed them the confirmation on my phone. The response? We can maybe het you in in 20 minutes.

I ended up in the ER yesterday due to gastrointestinal issues due to taking Celebrex (stomach lining damage, black stool, risk of perforation which can be FATAL) the ER sent the prescriptions to Walgreens at 3pm. These meds are to repair the stomach lining. I called Walgreens at 5:20pm and their automated system told me my medications would be ready any time after 5:45. I get there at 6pm. The pharmacy tech lies to me and says “the meds aren’t ready because we just got the prescription sent over a little bit ago.” And was told they wouldn’t be able to fill them that day. I told them I needed them ASAP and asked them if they would be ready in the morning, and they said “I cant tell you if they will or not. You’ll get a notification when they’re ready” and the woman that said that to me was so rude. I was so polite because I am extremely non-confrontational, but I left the pharmacy in tears and terrified. I need these medications NOW. The ER doctor told me to start taking them yesterday, the same day they were prescribed. Walgreens should prioritize prescriptions that come from emergency rooms. Those medications are prescribed for serious conditions. If I die from stomach bleeding I hope my family sues Walgreens into oblivion. It’s now 7:30am the following day, your pharmacy doesn’t open until 9am. I have to worry about my prescriptions not even being ready today because the pharmacy tech wouldn’t even tell me if they would be ready today at ALL, just a curt “YOULl GET A NOTIFICATION WHEN THEYRE READY” even though I NEVER get text updates from Walgreens for whatever reason, even though they have my correct phone number. I actually brought this up last time I was in Walgreens and was told “you’ll get a text from Walgreens asking for permission to send you notifications” and I NEVER even got that text. There are so many things wrong with this place. This is life or death, and I know I’m
Not the only one. I am so stressed and angry right now.

I’ve never had a good experience here, but a couple years ago I got a vaccine here and had an adverse reaction and, after walking out of the vaccine room/cubicle, I fainted, about 8 feet from the pharmacy windows. No pharmacist or employee came out to help me, a customer (who happened to be a home care aid thankfully) picked up the things I dropped and helped me. Incredibly unsafe.

Terrible customer service at the pharmacy on Belmont and Cesar Chavez. Walgreens instructs customers by email to call and check on prescriptions. The staff refuses to answer the phone, admits it to customers, fails to apologize and fails to take any steps to remedy their poor customer service. I recommend using any other pharmacy.

This pharmacy filled the incorrect prescription because there were two “similar” ones and instead of clarifying they just decided to pick one. They caused me to pay out of pocket for my medication that keeps me alive. I’ve called multiple days in a row, been on hold for 45 minutes each and immediately hung up on. How is this ethical for people who need medication and need to access the pharmacy

Wonderful experience at this pharmacy! I forgot one of my prescriptions as I am traveling and the pharmacist promptly responded to my call and instantly helped me fill my prescription. Pharmacist was kind and thoughtful such a great experience!

I know they are understaffed, but I have been on hold for over 40 minutes trying to call someone about my prescription. Instead of getting anyone I have had them literally pick up the phone, not say a word to me (I can hear them talking with other people and typing) and then put me back on hold immediately at least 10 times. You cannot get a hold of anyone at this location by phone.

Called to ask why I am suddenly being charged for my medication that is always free. I called, was put on hold, and then hung up on three separate times, and spent a total of over 45 minutes on the phone without ever getting any help.

There are times you wait just a little to long in the drive through.

Do NOT use this photo location. They cannot find anything that they’ve made IF they actually make it. I had a Christmas present I ordered and was notified it was ready. It was not- and when they promised to get it made on Christmas Eve they still didn’t get it done. Very disappointingz.

A decent pharmacy with good service. The store has so many products behind locked cabinets that it's unpleasant to shop here.
I only go because it's reasonably close.

Great example of incompetency at the corporate level. Not really the associates fault they're understaffed as well as the pharmacy. The pay is probably terrible so why would anyone want to work there. If a District Manager or the CEO walked through this store they either don't care or are wholly incompetent.

Seems incredibly understaffed. Took an entire work day to fill a prescription for zofran. Often unable to reach them on the phone. Have tried to reach them twice today and just been sent to permanent hold. Tried to ring me up without asking for insurance. Ultimately, I will no longer be using this pharmacy, proximity is the only thing working in its favor.

terrible cashier. my pickup order was cancelled for no reason and then the cashier was super dismissive and refuse to honor the online price (somehow the the I ordered wasn't marked properly in-store). He clearly lied because another Walgreens had the same price as online. Wasted my trip and my time.

Should have listened to the reviews and the opinion my doctor told me about this specific location.Avoid sending prescriptions here . Multiple reviews state they are extremely slow at filling prescription orders even for simple things .It’s either the system Walgreens has is so outdated or broken that it causes the pharmacy staff to be impatient with the computer which leads to being impatient with you the patient , or they are just in a bad mood all together causing you the patient (and customer ) to not feel good going there at all .Called the doctor to change prescription location to a Fred Meyer pharmacy down the street , was ready for pickup within 30minutes .
