If I could give 0 stars to their pharmacy I would. The most unprofessional, rude, and demeaning people I have ever talked to in my life. When I call to ask about why it has taken 2 weeks to get medication, they huff. The general call center line will say that my medication is in their system ready to be picked up, but when I talk to the location itself, they "can't find it" or "it's not in the system". I would not be surprised if there is something illegal happening with people's medications. Please do not use this pharmacy.

I'm a physician. I had a medication question I needed to ask the pharmacist. I was put hold for over 20 min and never got through. I called twice, both times with the same result. This is a huge problem and dissuades me from wanting to work with this pharmacy in the future.

The pharmacy staffs are super nice and helpful. My medicine’s was at $. Since I don’t have health insurance. The staffs find many ways to save me. End up I paid under $17. I would recommend this place to everyone and myself continue to shop at this location

Walgreens is supposed to give free flu shots to veterans. I downloaded the form from the Walgreens website, filled it out and took it to this location.A young man named Morgan first chastised me for not making an appointment. The instructions said to take the form and appropriate i.d. to any location so I stopped at the first store I saw, Obviously I couldn't make an appointment in advance. Morgan lectured me anyway. Then he put all my info into his computer and after a few minutes, he told me the form I had downloaded was from 2016 and the "group number" was no longer valid so I couldn't get the shot. He didn't make any effort to obtain a current group number from the company he worked for.I left after wasting a half hour or more of my time. This young man was not only unhelpful, he was a total jerk about it.

Super slow and very rude man at the front counter even the pharmacist was putting out very little effort how sad. I was in no hurry and was very patient yet I was met with attitude and extreme lack of care and effort. While waiting over an hour for my vaccine which never happened BTW because I had enough and just left. I witnessed the same minimal effort and disregard to several other customers. Was it busy yes was everyone patiently waiting in line yes and yet every one was met with rolling eyes and arguing of some sort or another. I finally went and ran errands and called (note while I was in the store calls were picked up put on hold and never answered.) Again in no hurry I thought I would try it. I waited for 40min. on hold with 2 callers ahead of me when I finally hung up. I wasn't going to leave a review but after checking reviews I see that this type of service is normal at this location. Enter at your own risk for any vaccine.

By far, the slowest pharmacy experience I have ever had. The associate at the counter was quick and efficient but the pharmacist in the back took over 45 min to fill the prescription that on the app and text said was ready.

Horrible experience getting my flu vaccine. The person at the pharmacy counter was unbelievably rude. I don’t know if I can name names in this review. They kept interrupting me. I told them my appointment time was for 12:15pm, to which they sharply said, “I heard you.” Then, they asked me what my appointment time was, so clearly, they didn’t hear me. The entire interaction was like this. They didn’t ask me for my insurance information until 15 minutes AFTER my appointment time. They did apologize for not getting that info sooner, so there’s that, I guess. But that apology doesn’t make up for their behavior and attitude. During my entirely too long of a wait, I witnessed this person be rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional to everyone, not just me. This person needs to be far away from any customers.Another complaint is that a person whose appointment time was after mine (for 12:30pm) was given the vaccine before me. I finally got my shot at 12:50pm, 35 minutes after my scheduled time. There was also a used lollipop sticking to one of the vaccine staging area chairs (who knows how long it has been there). The store, in general, felt dirty to me, which isn’t a good thing in any situation but is especially bad for a pharmacy. All in all, avoid this Walgreens at all costs.

Literally the worst pharmacy you could ever walk into in Portland. Nothing in stock, no one answers the phone, and they rarely are open

Ordered a foam board print of my seating chart for my wedding and it was a horrible experience. First of all I never got notified that it was ready, once I myself figured out it was ready, I went into the store only to be made to wait for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Then I found out they printed it on the wrong material. Waited another 10-15 minutes just to be told they don't have the material that I requested online. When I asked if another store might have the right material, the girl helping me said she's not from around here so she doesn't know. There was no apologies, no effort to help me, no effort to make it right. The lack of customer service was incredible. There were about 5 employees wandering around behind the photo counter, not a single employee acknowledged that I was waiting patiently. So unimpressed, I will never go there again.

You would be better off getting your drugs off the streetcorner of 82nd from homeless people than this walgreens. It is a sad, bad place.

The manager is working hard at revitalizing this store in the heart of Montavilla. Her hard work is showing results both in and outside the store. The grounds are so much cleaner now, which helps lift up the entire area around the store. The staff is so great and welcoming and helpful. Love they have treats for my puppy at the Pharmacy and Register. That extra touch makes our visit fun and we look forward to coming back. And with a special thanks to Debbie, who is one of the kindest, caring, and most helpful people I've ever met. Great work to everyone and thanks so much for caring about our neighborhood. Looking forward to what comes next!

Had a really bad experience trying to receive a package through their FedEx service. I don't recommend using it at all.

I placed an order from Walgreens.com and arranged to pick it up in person inside this store, located on 82nd Avenue near Glisan and Burnside. The order confirmation said that in order to claim my order, all I needed to do was walk over to the photo counter and show them my photo ID. However, when I got to the store and showed them my ID, none of the employees could find my order, and they said I must have come to the wrong Walgreens location by mistake. I insisted I was at the right location. I even gave them a detailed description of the item I had purchased, and they still couldn't find it in the back room. The employees kept insisting that I must be at the wrong Walgreens, so I had no choice but to go home, look up the details of my order, and call the store to tell them that I did in fact have the correct store location. The lady who answered the phone asked me if my credit card had actually been charged, and I told her yes. She then transferred me to one of the employees who had been unable to help me the first time. Even after I told him that I had an email right in front of me to prove my order had already been paid for and delivered to his store location, he still denied having any knowledge of this. I then said to him that I have a tracking number from Walgreens.com that PROVED my order had been delivered to his store, not to my home, and not to some other Walgreens location in Portland. As soon as I said "tracking number," a light bulb seemed to go off in his head. Strangely enough, he didn't even ask me to tell him what the tracking number was. He just put me on hold without having me read the tracking number out loud, and then came back on the line to say he had found my order sitting inside an unopened shipping box. I immediately drove back to the store to pick up my item. None of the people there had an adequate explanation for why they had been unable to find my order, using only my photo ID. All they said was that they get a lot of online orders sent to this store and they have a hard time keeping up. That's really not an acceptable response. Even after picking up my order, I continued to receive automated emails from Walgreens.com for weeks afterward, urging me to go to the store on 82nd Ave. to pick up my item. It's like they had no record of me picking it up. Moral of the story: You probably shouldn't use this Walgreens location for in-store pickup, but if you do, make sure you bring a printout of all your order details, not just your photo ID. No matter how many times the employees deny knowing anything about your order, do not back down, and do not leave the premises until someone takes the time to search the back room from top to bottom. They do have your order back there. They just can't find it.
