I recently added another Rolex to my collection, and it was my first dealing with Watch Works PDX.Sam was professional, punctual, and communicative.I brought a few watches for appraisal, and he was direct and reasonable in his offers and explanations.I ended up leaving a different watch there for service, and Sam was kind enough to hold the watch I was interested in purchasing until I was freed from business obligations.Overall a great experience, and I look forward to making more watch deals with them in the future.

Just can't stay away I guess. Came in on some other business and to pick up a little something for someone special today, and once again, great service. Sam was there to greet me and help with my needs. Friendly, chatted a bit--realized our excellent taste in music and got me on my way. Again, no sales pressure, just a boutique atmosphere, and a fun place to find great timepieces at a good price (new and pre-loved). I have great peace of mind with these folks. Thanks again!

Have been looking into getting my first watch for the last few months and decided to finally commit. Sam graciously opened up shop an hour early to fit around my schedule and poor planning skills. The overall experience was top class. Sam is a talented salesman, and a good dude. Super engaged and you can tell he loves his job. If you have ever been on the fence about taking the dive into the world of watches, take your business to Watchworks. Thanks Sam, hope to stop by again the next time the penny jar fills up.

Be aware that they do not do repairs on watches, even though they come up when you search "watch repair".

A beyond – satisfactory experience! Sam and Max were professional and efficient. I took my Rolex to Ben Bridge for repairs and after a week of them having it in their possession and no phone call back to update the status of the repair I was forced to call them. I was informed it would be 4 to 6 weeks before they could even tell me if they could fix the watch and what it would cost! it was missing a small pin in the safety clasp on the bracelet! I took it to Watchworks and Sam said if they couldn’t get a pin they would make one. A week later my watch was finished. The jeweler did indeed make the little pin and it worked perfectly and they charged me $25 which included polishing the bezel and the bracelet!! To say I was impressed would be an understatement and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful business and their fine old-school craftsman! I give them an 11 out of 10!! ???

I had my first watch meeting with an Authorized Dealer with Sam of WatchWorks. I'm a middle aged dude but I was crazy nervous. Sam was patient and thoughtful and kind and informative and I left the visit feeling more excited about watches and more comfortable asking questions in the future. It was truly the best visit I could imagine. Thank you Sam!

I was born and raised in the Portland area and left in 2016 (right before the city really went downhill). I saw the story on national news about how they were looted by criminals and many gullible residents of Portland support criminals over law abiding citizens. They had to leave downtown for security reasons and many luxury brands such as Omega and Breitling had to drop them from being their authorized retailers since they require window displays and now they are an appointment only retailer. I was visiting Portland last week and I bought a Omega Railmaster with them since it was a good deal. I recently bought an Aqua Terra 3 months ago and was going to wait until next year for my next watch. The deal on the Railmaster was great and I really wanted to support a local business from my hometown. Honestly I think that city of Portland is too lucky to have them and they don't deserve them and they would be much more appreciated in a different market! They are too good for Portland and it's failed government for providing basic law and order.

Went in to verify my Rolex watch I bought. I just a walked in and Alex took a look for a few minutes and verified it's legit. I appreciate the time he took to do that. 5 stars.
