I've been going to this rite aid for at least 15 years. It used to be quite good. I feel bad for the few people working there, but I also need to find a new pharmacy. I've tried to pick up a prescription and pre-paid, only to see a line going through the store and no hope of being helped before closing time in 40 minutes. I don't understand why each person getting their prescription takes 5-10 minutes. I also feel a little unsafe in the store. I like Moon and Sixpence and Laughing Planet a block away, but I think I will switch to a pharmacy in Beaverton. It's too stressful to get what I need at this store. I can't imagine if I had a real medical issue how awful it would be to go to this pharmacy.

Hard to say. Somethings are nice and others not so much. Very short staffed. Couldn't even figure out what door was actually working since most were boarded up. Had a lot of vandalism. The pharmacy was the only reason that I was there. Ugh.... prefer the Cully Blvd location.

Yeah. They do not answer the phone, and I will agree with all of the other reviews, they are a hot, hot, incompetent, corporate mess, and I will never ever use them again. Ever.

To address rite aids response. I did contact corporate before I posted this review. 2 months ago when I couldn't reach anyone. And nothing changed. But you know this. Because your response is only there to mentally punt the ball back to the customer in the eyes of other yelpers. We all know this is corporate BS taught in business schools now and these are all likely bots responding on yelp. And yelp loves if because they get to charge rite aid a fee.

Pharmacy here is unreliable; slow to process important prescription refills. There have been times when they were out of the heart medicine I needed. After 4 years, I'm done with them!

This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever experienced in the six states I have lived. The pharmacist, Daphne, is rude, my prescription was nowhere to be found after calling it in hours earlier and she had the audacity to act like we were bothering her, after standing in line for nearly an hour. The other employees are despondent and obviously unhappy to be working here. Please save yourself the aggravation and get your prescription filled anywhere but here. Rite Aid Corporate, this location needs somer serious help.

Very limited, pretty dirty, and they do NOT validate parking. Sad to say they didn't have my common medication and they wouldn't pay for the parking pass despite their large sign that said they would.

I've been a customer at this Rite Aid for at least a decade. Sadly, due to their inability to hire and/or retain staff in the pharmacy, I'm going to have to go elsewhere. On Sunday, with one employee in the pharmacy, they didn't have my prescription called in on Thursday, and said they might have to order it. I called FIFTEEN TIMES Tuesday morning to check to see if they had it in, and nobody ever picked up. I called the main number who paged the pharmacy and I was on hold once for 10 minutes and another time for 15 minutes until my phone died. The pharmacist seems like a good guy. It's too bad you, Rite Aid, aren't paying people enough to work there or stay there! A business can't last long when there is zero customer service.

NOPE. They have fully stopped functioning as a pharmacy, 100% completely over. They don't pick up their phone and they don't fill meds unless you come in person and demand it (Not like they ever did answer their phone a lot, but now if you call the national 1-800 line, even those "customer service" people don't do anything! And no manager will ever call you back. And the customer service people say they can't help you because the wait for getting rite aid to pick up their phone is too long and they have to do their jobs. Yeah no kidding! Why do you think I'm calling you geniuses? It ain't for the company!). I used them for the free medication delivery. Their delivery drivers would throw meds at your neighbors door, leave them with the wrong person, would be reckless and rude and huge zero F's. But at least they filled your meds - NOW, rite aid doesn't even bother filling your meds at all! Until I switched to a FUNCTIONING PHARMACY, lIke safeway (or anywhere else), I had to come here in person and wait 1-2 hours for them to fill my meds which they previously filled online and delivered to me for free. Rite Aid has had a massive decline in service to the point where they don't have service anymore. I waited for over an hour in an empty pharmacy for them to fill meds that were called in over a week ago. You can imagine how happy the workers are (spoiler: not at all). After I left there I felt like I had just been to the DMV or the post office, and had to shake off the vibe. A good guy, nice pharmacist that I know that works there hates it. He used to work at the other store on 39th & Division, but he had nothing good to say about that location and just said "nope nope" when I asked if he works there anymore (that store is even worse than this one). He only works at this Rite Aid once a week and I can see why. He's the reason the place is still standing. They're lucky to have him. Rite Aid is a shameful mess. Treat your customers and your employees right; those of us who know and love your employees and former employees know how terribly you treat them and your customers!!

Masks are by choice and I should not be told over and over by the clerk that I do not have to wear one. I didn't say anything about their right to not wear one, I merely said I need to wear one and walked away. I will avoid the Hollywood district location in the future. It's a choice and leave it at that.

The pharmacy here, and corporate, are an incompetent mess. They never answer their phones, first of all. They just don't anymore, ever. The pharmacy stopped taking both medicare and medicaid as a combination, and goodrx. Scammers. This made me sure of moving on to a different pharmacy, anywhere is better. And when I called the fools at corporate, they didn't get back to me in 19 days, until I called again, when I git the insurance answer. You're awful, Rite Aid. I hope you lose money and customers because you're trash.

Came in today (Thursday) to pick up a prescription I called in on Sunday. The employee told me I'd have to wait 2.5 hours until my prescription would be ready. When I questioned this, telling him I called it in 4 days ago he just said "yeah we've been busy." I guess I'll try again tomorrow, but after that I might have to go elsewhere.

We have been Rite Aid customers for years, but feel like we are forced to move on due to this weeks customer service experiences (more coming on that). Their utter incompetence and horrific customer service is literally endangering our family by making it difficult to get prescriptions that are timely and necessary to keep us healthy. On Monday they were supposed to deliver a prescription that was nearly out. They never showed up. Apparently, they delivered it to our previous address where we haven't lived for 10 years. Their solution to this problem was to ask us to try and go get it. In addition, their issues with diagnosing where the prescription went caused a delay in two other prescriptions which we were also nearly out of. The staff was very defensive on the phone as we tried to resolve these problems this morning. I was told the manager would have to deal with it and that he would be in at noon. I called at noon and was told the manager arrived but he's eating lunch and would call back in 15 minutes. 35 minutes later the manager finally resolved the issue, partly. He was able to get us the two additional prescriptions, but told us he needed us to go to our old address and try to get the mess delivered prescription. Use this pharmacy at your own risk. Literally.

I return to this rite aid frequently to pick up my medications. Never had to wait more than a few minutes. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

This location is going downhill. 1. Throughout the years there's rarely NOT a line. Now, they allow riff-raff to empty their personal belongings all over the floor and argue at length with clerks about returning merchandise without receipts. This often requires the intervention of multiple employees which thereby backs-up the line even further. At the Walgreens on NE Sandy, there's rarely a line. 2. I realize during COVID the supply chain is behind, but this Rite-Aid has far more empty shelves than Walgreens. That said, the blond haired lady who's been there for a very long time and the young African American male provide excellent customer service. In fact, almost all the employees are friendly.
