About World Forestry Center
Founded in 1966, World Forestry Center is a nonprofit located in Portland’s forested Washington Park. The Discovery Museum invites visitors to examine forests and consider all the ways they impact our lives. Through interactive and featured art exhibits, visitors learn how forest management affects everyday lives. This is a very cool place to visit with little ones. There are lots of giant things to look at, like a tree in the center, a tractor to go into, and things to explore. It is hands on to keep little ones engaged. The upstairs is even cooler than the lower level. Prices are great, and it is a good place to spend an hour or two. Visitors recommend it for kids 5+. One visitor noted that with a toddler, a two-hour parking pass is enough; without kids, 30 minutes is sufficient. Another visitor has been a few times growing up in Oregon and recommends it as one of the most beautiful places in the Portland area.

I went with my toddler, he loved it. You only need two hours parking pass if you have toddler, if you are without kids, 30 mins is enough.
