I feel I got screwed here.I bought a tungsten wedding band earlier this year. It didn't fit perfectly, but pretty close. No biggie, as I figured I could get it resized later if needed.My ring slipped off my finger a day ago, so I figured I should probably get it resized. Went to Zales today... and discovered that tungsten rings cannot be resized. No one told me or my wife this at purchase. Maybe I'm just ignorant, but I've never heard of a ring that cannot be resized.Had I known that, I would have been a little pickier. Maybe that means I would have had to come back another day and the rep that helped us would have missed out on some commission...This upset me. Between my ring and the one I bought for my wife, I spent thousands at this place. The agent I spoke to today was quite pleasant and tried to be helpful, but she let me know that my only real option is to buy another ring that does fit.I won't be giving Zales another penny.

I called in advance to verify Zales still replaced watch batteries. Eventually, the answer was "yes, we do. We send it off-site". I confirmed there was no charge, to which the agent replied, "yes, there is no charge". I asked the rep. for her name, then to give the manager my name, since I planned to drive over and it took 10 minutes to come to this point. She said, "I have to leave but the manager knows all about it". I drove over from SW Portland.The agent denied all of this, when I arrived. Then, the manager tried to say I hadn't called or perhaps called another jeweler. I showed the manager and the rep. documentation of calling their store at 11:01a on my phone.The agent said they could send to watch out for batter replacement, but it would be $22. I said, "oh, the agent on the phone indicated there would be no charge". I asked if they want to lose a customer for $22. Neither the agent nor the manager, who said she had no authority to approve the repair, as promised, seemed to care about losing a customer. Apparently, Zales no longer needs customers like me. I'm so elated to know this, so I can avoid purchasing anything from Zales, ever again.

If I could give them a negative 20 I would. Bartering on December 23rd for an upgrade to my wedding ring we got confirmation that the money was taken out of our bank account because our bank accounts linked to our phone we got a confirmation that the money was taken got a confirmation that it was shipped then they tried to take the money for a second time and said that the first time they only make sure that the money is in there and then they release it three to five business days later which they never did. Then the girl at Clackamas Town center tells us that my husband came in to return the ring which was not true he was at work all day and she lied about that and she took it up on herself to return my ring without authorization. Then I call customer service and they're not willing to do anything so much for customer service this company does not care about its customers beware of buying from them especially online.
