Ray Russell went far above and beyond researching and helping me with a serious issue in our account. Ray called other departments and did more than due diligence to rectify and also help prevent this issue from happening again. This was not a bank issue, to clarify it was a fraud issue. Ray was very helpful, cheerful, and very professional all at the same time. He made sure my concerns were alleviated and even went out of his way to call me back after he contacted further assistance.

The people at this branch don't know what they're doing. From "not finding" credit reports of a member who has gotten a loan through the bank, to not following proper procedure when a fraudulent claim was put through. The manager Jennifer likes to be condescending to patrons and not take responsibility for errors her employees make. ? Bad service, lack of training, overall major disappointment from someone who has been banking with First Interstate for years.

When their worn out cash machine took $500.00 from me they laughed. It took weeks to recover that money. Don't trust them with your income. They steal, and the local cops help them.

Switched from Mid Oregon Credit Union to First Interstate and First Interstate can't even print me a one-time printed check with my information to use to set up autopay from my employer. How is it that a bank of this size can't provide that kind of courtesy so my paycheck can be direct deposited into my own account each payday? I don't get it? I guess I will stay with Mid Oregon!

They reopened a closed account, overdrafted it $1500 then I found out after they sent me a letter showing the negative balance and several late fees on top of it. Employee at branch and customer service were rude and it took me countless hours to ‘rectify’, and I still had to come out of pocket to avoid collections. Worst bank I’ve ever had.

Extremely friendly staff that great you as soon as you walk through the door gives it that home town feel; with very prompt, professional and courteous tellers.

As a new customer, Tonna (First Interstate -Prineville) was responsive and incredible handling some mistakes we made. The mistakes could have cost us $100's of dollars...and were our fault. The bank had no responsibility in the errors but they handled us with extraordinary kindness. In a world that is frighteningly untethered to customer service we recommend First Interstate to anyone wanting the strength of a big bank and a hometown bank attention to customer CARE.
