Upon arriving, we were told the story of this business, what all it consisted of, and by listening and looking at all there was to see, one would learn a great deal of how cheese is made. There were several assorted cheeses to see and taste, plus, after going through the whole process, each person was asked if they are interested in tasting the assort choices, or even interested in buying any. The knowledge of these people at this business is outstanding and one learns a great amount of the history and lifestyle of the employees. Definitely a very interesting place to visit.

Drove out to the place and it looked like a scene from a horror film. Abandoned farm equipment and uninviting buildings. Also not a soul to be found and this is after driving on a dirt road.

The way I acquired their cheese was a little unusual to be honest. I met the owner/worker (?) at the airport, where she generously gifted me and another person with a block of cheese. I was delighted, as I am a fan of many cheeses. But I have to be honest, this cheese was THE BEST. Absolutely incredible. Aside from its perfect taste, the owner/worker who gifted me the cheese was extremely courteous, friendly and kind. The day was stressful but she handled the situation with grace and kindness, which made me respect her even more.I will always buy Cada Dia Cheese now, after my wonderful experience with both staff, and delicious tasting cheese.

I'll travel far and wide to get his cheese and I'm NOT even a cheese afficianado. I just will buy it to have the best of the best for a special venue.

I went up on July 4th and I should have called first because no one was there but I'll travel miles to get their cheese. Not very far from the center of town. Lamonta turns into Sharp Road. Very easy to find, but call first and set an appointment. They're very busy with their business because it's the best there is.

Their cheese may taste fine but they take abysmal care of the cows. The cows escape regularly & tramp around the area laying waste to stored hay & alfalfa & creating dangerous conditions on the roads surrounding the Cada Dia farm. It may be open range but the cows owners owe them care & safety. Don't let anyone tell you the cheese is organic because the fodder they've mooched from me certainly isn't certified.

This place is off the beaten path and you have to plan ahead and make an appointment to go there. It's a very small place with just a husband and wife running it. Cher is very nice, but has opinions about food that might not be universal. She does however give an informative mini tour of how the cheese is made. Our whole visit was only about 30 minutes or less. The cheese is just so so. Some better than others. The price of the cheese is very expensive compared to really good cheeses we have had, and you pretty much have to buy some since your visit is by appointment only. It amazed us that the conditions where they make the cheese passed the health inspections, with open kettles etc...easy to get things you don't want in your cheese. All and all I don't think it was worth the extra time and miles to go visit.

Cher and Pat are just about the most welcoming people I have ever met. They toured us around their wonderful facilities on very short notice and seemed genuinely happy to have us. Oh yeah, and their cheese is fantastic! If you find yourself anywhere near Prineville I highly recommend stopping by, or at least seeking out their cheese.

Cher and her husband are wonderful, warm, friendly people and very passionate about their business. Our visit to their facility was so very informative and Cher is a delight! I was very impressed with the cleanliness of their dairy and I highly recommend this tour!
