Horrible horrible horrible! Gave out meds to unknown person. Have proof of this , print out of unknown signature. Manager Evan stated that anyone can pick up your meds if they have name and date of birth they don’t check beyond that. Out of my husbands meds for 2 months due to this, transferred meds to Walmart. Walmart just today stated they are calling rite aid corporate because prineville rite aide refused to release info. Woman in pharmacy stated the transfer happened in September and then Evan the manager stated that it was transferred on December 3rd. They lied
SHUT THIS STORE DOWN

If you’re diabetic and love hearing pharmacy staff tell you a full 7 days In a row that they totally “ordered your essential supplies” and they’ll definitely “be there tomorrow”. Visit this location.

One of the worst pharmacies of all time. Takes 3 separate trips every time before a script is ready. Zero customer service skills, JUST SHUT THE DOORS.

This Pharmacy just keeps letting me down. Every time I've needed anything it's not ready and there's some issue looking it up. Today they were not open during their scheduled hours and now I have not had a single phone call answered in 3 hours.

The pharmacy is the best! They always know who I am when I call or visit. I feel they go the extra mile. Matthew, the Pharmacist is extremely helpful.

If you're going to just not answer the phone all day, there needs to be an option to leave a voicemail. You're a pharmacy, sometimes calls are important! Also takes way longer to fill than any other pharmacy in town. And no, customer-service-bot, I'm not going to call corporate customer service so I can wait on hold and complain to someone 1000 miles away who can't fix it.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy in Oregon. No customer service skills at all. They make everything harder than it needs to be. Very argumentative with no smiles. Lines out the door and never on time and always blame it on staff issues. Thank god we have a new Walgreens here in prineville. I’m moving all my moms and family’s prescriptions there today already left messages for the doctors to change it. If you have prescriptions that are life or death do not send them here. They don’t care.

If you live in prineville just switch to clinic pharmacy. I've been with rite aid for 20 years. I'm so tired of the understaffed excuses. They just turn their phones off. I live 25 miles out of town. I just had to make a special trip just to get a question answered that there automated system wouldn't answer. Very rude pharmacy staff. I won't be back✌️

The evening of 8/31/23 my daughter-in-law had asked me to accompany her to the Rite Aid pharmacy to pick up a prescription. During our drive, I advised her to call ahead and verify the prescription's readiness, suggesting that they initiate preparation if needed, to ensure minimal waiting upon arrival. Our journey takes 10-15 minutes, and it can sometimes take an additonal 10-15 minutes in line, and then an additional 20 minutes to an hour for the pharmacy to fill the prescription. Unfortunately, what should be a simple process often results in an hour and a half long ordeal. The prescription in question had been duly called in by my daughter-in-law's doctor two days prior, not including yesterday. When we tried to contact the pharmacy by phone, we were met with repeated failures. After six attempts of them not answering the phone we finally reached a pharmacy staff member. My daughter in law asked about her prescription and they told her it would be at least a 20 minute wait. She went inside the store to wait, while I planned to wait in my car. Before hanging up as we had been using my phone on speaker I inquired about the phone issue and received a dismissive response, claiming that they were answering calls, which contradicted our experience. The woman who responded displayed a complete lack of empathy, failing to acknowledge the frustration caused by their phone system. I asked her if she could talk to her manager about creating a policy to answer in 3 rings even if busy and take name and numbers to return calls back or ask to hold. She was rude and acted like my complaint of wanting them to answer the phone was inconvenient to them. I requested her name, she outright refused to provide it. This encounter was disappointing and deeply unprofessional. The conversation took a further negative turn when I expressed my concern about the prescription's delay. She accused me of hindering the prescription process by raising a valid complaint. She actually laid the phone down on the counter and stopped listening to me. So I hung up and went inside.Upon my arrival at the pharmacy counter, I hoped to address the issues in person. However, even the pharmacist Matthew, was unwilling to share the names of the staff members present. The environment was dismissive with the pharmacy staff visibly ignoring my concerns. Despite wearing name tages, they refused even to turn to display their names. Matthew cited understaffing as the reason for their attitude. I asked for their names and he said you can use mine and held his name tag for me to read.I told him that he is not the one who has been rude to me. And the woman who I had spoke to that was rude to me is who's name I wanted as she was also then rude to my daughter-in-law because she was mad at me. She questioned my daughter-in-law's prescription and spoke loud enough to embarrass her because everyone in line could hear her personal information. And she did it on purpose. This has been happening for the last 3 years. I have finally moved to another pharmacy. We have a town with a population of 10k. Rite Aid is a convenient pharmacy. They need to improve their phone communication, revisit prescription fill policies, ensure courteous and professional conduct from all staff members which is essential to restore faith in their service. Immediate action is needed to rectify these ongoing issues and regain the trust of loyal customers. These are deeply troubling concerns.I have reported them to their corporate headquarters 3 times over the last 3 years we still have the same issues, except extreme unprofessionalism is worse. I don't want to do business with anyone who does not care how their staff members treat their customers. This was an unacceptable service experience.
