I came in freaking out about car repairs that were unexpected. Beth at the Rainier branch helped me realize that it was cheaper for me to get a loan, that I already qualified for, than to get cash back on credit cards to pay off my van services. She literally saved the day! Loan payments are affordable and my stress was relieved! Thank you Beth at Rainier TLC Fibre Federal Credit Union!

Had so many issues at the rainier branch, I’m thinking of changing banks. Today, their ONE atm, which is drive through only, was out of service, forcing me to go inside to a teller. I needed to deposit a check from my tenant—the same tenant that I deposit a check from every single month—and the teller wouldn’t accept it because the tenant had used my nickname! This wouldn’t have been a problem at the atm as I’ve had people put my nickname on checks all my life. Their customer service is always poor.

We have banked here for 20 years or more beginning with TLC in Tillamook. When they merged with Fibre things began changing and not for the better. We list our financial planner, have finally been able to navigate the complicated web site. But lately the service has been just plain awful. I have tried to call several of the local branches only to be asked to enter my account number (easily hacked) then put on hold forever. I finally got through to someone only to be told I was talking to a call center person who could not even verify they had a branch office in Astoria. I told her I had left multiple messages on their call back line and had never received a call back from anyone. My questions didn’t get answered. We are seriously thinking of withdrawing our funds and doing business elsewhere. I think they are so focused on expansion and building new bigger and bigger buildings they have forgotten they are using our money to do it. Customer service should not come last.

Today was a perfect example, but by no means the only one.I had 3 things to do when I walked in. 1. Use the coin counter2 Deposit money into my Credit Union using shared banking3. Open a business account for the club.I took the coin receipt from the machine up to the teller. She had to take my ID, entered all my info into the computer, then sat there for literally 20 minutes typing into her computer before I got my money. All this for coins.Then it was told that they can't do shared banking, despite the fact that I'm standing right on front of her and the computer she would use for shared banking is the same one she just spent 20 minutes typing into for the coins.Then I asked about opening a new account for the club, she said they weren't allowed to do that.And in case you're thinking it's a Covid thing, it's not. I went down the street to Red Canoe and they were perfectly willing to do all those things, no problem.It was a Fiber thing. As best I can tell I they hate their customers.
