A midsized SUV was supposed to be ready at 10am at the Redmond airport on 9/10, when we arrived at the counter we were told it's not ready but should be 20-30min. They offered a compact instead. We are a family of 4 with a bunch of luggage and need something in the size range we requested, not a compact (which would have cost less money btw). They said they would not offer us something else in the size range we need without paying more. Our car became available at 11am, so we had to wait in the airport for approximately an hour after landing until our car was ready. Oh, and the Alamo counter was closed so we have to get the car at the Enterprise counter.

We reserved a pick-up truck out of Redmond in Oregon for mountain bike transportation. We arrived early and our vehicle wasn't ready. so the agent worked her magic and got us another truck within minutes. Great customer service, and the vehicle was brand new!

Renting with Alamo has been a pleasant experience. The front desk is helpful and speedy in their service. The car was fun to drive. Alamo also offered the best price around and we plan to rent from them again in the future.

Updated review. After a really good rental, I had a pretty terrible experience with Alamo's national customer service. I received a bill with no explanation and then was passed around to 3 different customer representatives and was finally told that someone would call me back. They never did.After writing a 1 star review(it's unfortunate that is what it takes to get in touch with companies today). I was quickly given the proper information.Rental was good. Redmond rental office was good. Customer service needs a lot of work.

We had a minor problem with our reservation, but when we checked in to pick up our car, the pleasant lady across the counter gave us an upgrade which we really appreciated. We will continue to use Alamo for any time we require a rental car. Thanks!
