This company is run by an India call center.
If you have ever had to with an India call center then you know you're screwed.
Even the local Redmond Or. phone number is routed to, India call center. Ive been without heat and hot water for a week with no end in sight.
The India call center will only offer to email someone. You will not recieve any help.
Im a 60 yr old disable vet. Not that it matters
It just makes the situation worse to deal with.
If you choose to do business with this awful company. Well you have bern warned.
Maybe checkout Ed Staub&sons propane.

We were on auto fill AND autopay when in the middle of winter the propane ran out. Apparently when I changed cc numbers on my autopay, the account becomes will call unless you re-enlist in autofill! Who knew? They wanted $300 to come fill our tank, otherwise it would take a week. No apologies.

Terrible company. They left us twice with no propane and no heat after they assured us we were on a delivery schedule. All customer service is off shore, and difficult to communicate with. We will be switching providers and never going back.

I had a simple request, but 3 times I got a customer service rep from India that had very broken English. What should have taken under 10 min took over 30 min with tremendous frustration

The online appointment option makes it quick and easy to set up service. Notification prior to their visit is appreciated and keeps one in the know. My yard is never disturbed of their visit. Very respectful and professional.

I've been a customer for over 12 years and just called in to talk to someone about possibly getting a delivery and some wretched robot answering service answered and wouldn't let me talk to a real person.
I refuse to sit on hold with a robot for something as simple as a propane delivery.
Remove the robots and I'll change my one star review.

I'm giving one star because the Amerigas customer service call center in India or wherever is a nightmare and the Northern Energy operation in Redmond seems to just be a shell office or placeholder for orders and delivery of gas. All Amerigas calls go to the call center and then you can wait forever and may get someone that speaks clear english. If you persist and escalate, you can get someone in the US. I wasn't home when the technician checked on my tank after I reported a leak. The Northern Energy office did send a guy named Aaron G. and he had good communication skills over the phone and suggested my leak may be from a pilot light in a fireplace. Without his involvement, I was definitely canceling my account. At this point I'm evaluating options to buy or lease my propane tank and looking at all vendors in Bend/Redmond. After personally evaluating the tank and gauges and the disappearance of 100 gallons of propane I plan to cancel my account with Amerigas.

You’re charging $1.99 more per gallon than your local competitors for propane delivered. Unacceptable .

I canceled my service because I no longer needed propane around November 2023. I had to call them four times and ask them to come pick up the tank. (I needed it moved because I was doing work on the house). They never came, so I had to pay someone to come disconnect and move the tank out of the way.AmeriGas finally sent someone to pick up the tank in February. I thought all was well and I never received a statement until today , the statement said I owed them 339 dollars plus late fees. They charged me a pick up fee a tech fee and a late fee. So in total it cost me $525 to get the THERE tank removed of my property.I’m not sure Why they sent a technician out because I paid A professional to disconnect and remove the tank, I can understand a pickup fee but $199.00 is ridiculous. Had they told me about these fees when I canceled in November 2023 I would have brought the tank to them.I Would love to charge them a storage fee an inconvenience fee and maybe a fee for just being so damn greedy.

Your driver couldn’t find my tank and it took an extra four days and instructions and how to do it and your prices are at least two dollars more than competitors so I’m quitting AmeriGas
