I realize it was probably rented as a work truck before. But as a regular customer, it wasn't what I expected to have to deal with and / or look at each time I got in and out of the truck. Especially trying not to get it on my shoes and jeans. I advised the rental agent when I returned, and it was kind of brushed off, which was disappointing. But other than that, the rental was super easy to book, and the electronic paperwork made picking up and dropping off a breeze.”

“I had an excellent experience with Hertz at the Redmond airport. Check-in was super efficient and the agent was very friendly. Most importantly, I dropped off my rental car at 4:30am (well before the desk was staffed) and left my cell phone in the locked car, which I realized after I had already dropped the keys in the box. I left a note with my travel companion's phone number, and by the time our flight landed I had a message from the manager saying he had retrieved my phone and would overnight it to me (at only the cost of their discounted shipping). Really excellent, friendly service!”

“We had no issues with the car pickup or drop off of our rental car. They did not have the car available, we rented, but they gave us an upgrade that actually was very beneficial given the amount of stuff we were carting around with us on our trip, and it got great gas mileage. The entire experience was pleasant.”
