Juniper Golf Course is an excellent local club and a top notch public course in Central Oregon, considered a favorite in the area at the intersection of quality and cost. It is adequately challenging for regular golfers but forgiving for beginner to mid-range enthusiasts as well. The course is consistently in good and great shape, seeming well maintained with nice carts. It offers awesome views throughout and is a great course to walk. The Bar and Grill has some great food at affordable prices and even better views. Some note that a reasonable price often requires playing twilight, as standard fees can be high. On very busy days with hundreds of rounds, delays can occur and cart availability may be limited. While staff are generally nice, there can be occasional negative interactions. Evening events at the venue can be difficult to find due to a lack of signage or lighting. Overall, it remains a fine place for outdoor time and a great Central Oregon course.
