Based on six reviews, St. Charles Redmond: Emergency Room is described as a place with professional, caring, and compassionate staff. Patients were seen for severe stomach pain, a child’s breathing issue at 2am, a child’s broken leg from a trampoline, and other urgent needs. From the moment of arrival, the front staff checked people in quickly with genuine kindness. Nurses were professional, patient, and listened without minimizing what patients were feeling. The RN and MD were incredibly fast acting, friendly, and warm. One patient had a CAT scan and was given a cup of ice chips. For a child with a hurt leg, X-rays were done within 15 minutes, and the leg was wrapped. Care all around was excellent, and every person encountered was both professional and caring. The entire team showed up every day ready to care for people at their most vulnerable. Patients were taken back by the level of care and professionalism. One reviewer would go back without hesitation. Another noted a great experience on a long and scary night. Overall, the emergency department provided a great job and excellent care.

I needed stitches due to an accident l and the staff was amazing. They followed up with a CT scan and EKG, and did a great job of cleaning and treating my wounds in a timely and very caring manner.

Seen in the emergency dept on Christmas Eve. I can’t say anything negative about the staff, nurses, that cared for me. A special thanks to the nurses and to Dr. Cook who cared for me. The care all around was excellent. My sincere thanks. Jackie Stensrud
