I was surprised by the condition of the room and the service/quality of the restaurant. For the lodge, it was expectationally clean, however, the general maintenance of the facility and our room(122) was very bad. In the room, the furniture was goodwill quality and very uncomfortable. I was shocked by the condition. I could not sit at all. The central venting and main area thermostat did not work, resulting in a terrible moldy smell. The bath toilet rocked like you were on ship every time you say down and the shower sprayed all over the floor because of no door on the back part. Also, the vent did not work. For the facility, several broken light fixtures, doors where the handles rubbed holes into the wood, scrapes all along the wall. All have a general appearance low quality and care. The restaurant was understaffed, not well cleaned, and the food mediocre. The view and river walk was a saving grace. The 1st floor Cafe has a very good breakfast and good service. Overall, I was disappointed in the lodge considering the price and hype I had heard about it. Currently, I prefer Brasada or Sunriver by far.

We reserved two rooms one of which needed to be ADA. I had my 83 yr old mother in a wheelchair and it was very difficult to not have handicapped access. No grab bars in bathroom. Front desk gave us a toilet seat riser but didn't do much good without grab bars. Shower wouldn't work because of toilet location.Phones in room didn't work. Kitchenette sink backed up. The toilet had issues the entire stay. The maintenance guy just gave us a plunger so we would stop calling.Since we couldn't leave my mom alone in the non ADA room, we decided to make the best of it and rented movies. Great idea until we found out the DVD player made a loud noise.I was promised a call from the resort manager by the end of day. A week has gone by and no call from anyone. Very disappointing stay.

Very dated hotel… didn’t feel warm or welcoming at all. Decoration feels old, rooms a bit dirty, and garderner annoying at 8

The wifi does not work and the phone was non-functional. Otherwise, the rooms are not as clean or nice as photos, but it is fine. Front desk was unable to fix the wi-fi (and I would never have stayed here knowing I couldn't work remotely from the room)

Rooms are outdated , smelled strongly of bleach. Avoid stone shower option in King suite . Scraped my toe my first night , couldn't enjoy the hot tub the second night.

I never leave reviews but I have to say how awful this place is. Our room was absolutely disgusting, the floor looks like it was not vacuumed. There was crumbs all over the floor. We found 4 different hair balls, one was in our bed. We could not set our kid down on anything because it was so gross. Our family had a couple other rooms the same night as us and found toenails in their room. They advertise online and one their phone that there is a spa, the spa has not been open for years. The swimming pool closed earlier than advertised. It’s old and just overall not nice. I won’t be staying here ever again and I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have kids staying in the room.

Well, light bulb out, dirty comforter, sound device not working, mold in the shower, broken toilet seat. First resort I've been to that didn't have complementary breakfast. I heard they were understaffed, it showed!!! Would I come back, No!!!

Pros: location to Sisters and outside hiking.Outside property is beautifulrestaurant was yummy and had live music.CONS: the carpet is old and musty. Hallway pic included. It smelled very old ?Pictures online show the pool far from rooms on other side of resort. So if your staying In lodge this is NOT what is right outside.Lastly, I went to shower and there was hair on the wall ? I didn’t tell my family because they would been completely disgusted.I personally wouldn’t stay here again for the cost.

A health hazard disaster... sewage backed up all the way to the top of our bathroom sink ready to spill...they made a sizeable credit to our bill, but the situation will not be forgotten.

I wasn't impressed! The room was very dated, the elevator had a bad odor, the room wasn't very clean (hair in the sink & dirty dishes), and the sensor on the patio door was broken so the air conditioner wouldn't work. The building wasn't secure either. You're supposed to use your room key to access the building, but the door remained unlocked at all times. We didn't feel secure. Anyone could have walked right in. I emailed the hotel twice and I never received a response.

The website photos are pretty misleading. The room in the main lodge was not quite as it appeared in the photos. It was fine, we just expected a little nicer room, especially for a resort. Would have been nice to have a microwave, too. The pictures on their website don't show the pool and hot tub at the lodge or the rec center, but rather pictures of the ones at some secondary location that appear to be really nice, and not just basic. The hot tub at the lodge was actually pretty pathetic for a resort: very tiny, full of debris, and not very warm. The premises and surrounding area were beautiful. The staff was friendly. The lodge was very quiet. Ultimately, we'd stay there again, but we weren't really impressed.

Room is big, beds are comfier than most, property is nice, but the pet fee which is not listed on hotels.com is a whopping $50. I would have probably looked elsewhere had they not sprung this on me last minute as it was 50% of the cost of the room!

We have stayed here a few years ago and the place was pretty nice. We booked a room for the 24th and 25th of December. The first thing I noticed was the rather aggressive mask sign. Instead of “please where a mask”, in capital letters there is a sign everywhere that says “No Mask No Enter”. They did wait on me without a mask (I have an actual medical exemption but some places aren’t honoring that) so I guess they wanted my money. We didn’t use any of their facilities - I can’t imagine sitting in a sauna with a mask but to each their own. For the room, it was very run down and dingy. The lighting is terrible. I get wanting to use LED bulbs but these were so dim that you couldn’t really see. That’s probably a good thing since the dark carpet looks original and not clean. The bed was clean so that’s good! The bathroom was a bit gross. If we were going to be there more than two nights, I wouldn’t have stayed in that room. The fan in the bathroom did not work & looks to be that way for a long time. I’m guessing that’s why the ceiling is covered with mildew. You would think the cleaning crew would notice a gross ceiling, but their main concern here seems to be COVID. Rooms aren’t cleaned during your stay because of COVID. This wasn’t a problem for our short stay but if we had been there a week, a cleaning would be nice. To top it off, we made a cup of coffee to take with us and the cheap cups and lids collapsed in minutes and spilled coffee all over us. Just overall, the place is tired and worn. I’d be happy to pay a little more to have an updated room. Next time we’ll go for an upgrade and stay at the Sleep Inn. Sad.
