Wonderful people. Wonderful artists. We got to see them working on some of their projects. We were there at Christmas time and were able to sing Christmas carols at the piano with them. If you're traveling through town, this is definitely a place to stop.

The log lot is a wonderful place to get quality carvings. Ellie was so kind to show my mom and I around the different workshop areas. I love the toy trains and handmade toys for kids. Ignore the horrible person trashing this place -- there are absolutely no "white power"/n4zi symbols, they are clearly lying and mad because there are a few nicely made T r u m p carvings. Don't lie just because you don't like who they carve. Shame on you.

Delightful people with unique sculptures. Ignore H A's review as these people are humble and kind. They also have a unique share of history worth every bit of reading into.Loon Lake LloydBy Lloyd and Ellen Keeland, a good short read for short stories of everyday life.

Ellie showed me around the lot and the carving that was going on at the time. Even provided proper hearing earmuffs. I told her I carved a little and she said to come on down and carve. Good time.

I should start this review off by stating that I in no way want to censor an artist's work. I am not offended by controversial subject matter. I believe art should be a catalyst for open discussion and exchanging ideas. That being said, upon visiting The Log Lot, I was horrified to see examples of Pro White Nationalism. There are carved, wooden figures in Donald Trump's likeness that appear to be saluting. These hand gestures are very reminiscent of N*** salutes. In today's politically charged climate, are these wooden idols something we should be selling? Are these figures not a subtle nod to White Nationalists, 'hey, guys, these racist, antisemitic thoughts are okay with us'. There is too much hatred going on these days, especially as of late. By carrying these items, The Log Lot is defacto endorsing this trend to continue. I suppose one could say that the wooden figure is simply waving, but that seems convenient and probably isn't what everyone is seeing. Call me a snowflake or sensitive, but using this art as a dog whistle to potential customers is disgusting. I promise the wood carvings in question will hurt sales from folk who think America is big enough for brown, homosexual, or minority individuals.

I love wood carvings, unfortunately I will NEVER purchase from this place because of one reason. There a multiple statues throwing up the terrorist hand symbol for white power. There are two carvings of President Trump holding up the WP and the tallest carving in the lot is a giant hand symbol for WP. I will not buy from a place that is ran by nazis, terrorists, and racists. It is very unsettling....

Very cool place. The carvings are mind-blowing and very often the opportunity to watch the carvings as they happen is available.
