We've stayed here before because of the location. Our first experience was good, but this time it was not. While the customer service and location was still great, we found two cockroaches in our room. That made our stay unpleasant and questioned the cleanliness of the entire room.

Worse ever. Our room smelled like dog poop, the bed cover had cigarette burns, and our room was a non smoking. The room was shaped like a trapezoid, the floor was uneven. The “ porch was in a corner, just big enough for a small plastic chair, we were told it was large enough for at least 2 chairs. The dog poop smelling rug had to be pushed under the bed just so we could breathe and we left a window open too. The curtains stunk too. No one in the office to complain to because the office was closed We picked up our key , went ate and was gone maybe 45 minutes and the office closed before 8-9:00. We back in the morning to complain and the office doesn’t open until 9:00. We wrote them a letter and they never replied. DO NOT STAY HER. The place next door is newer and cleaner. Wished had known it was there when we made reservations. We were told we would get a room with the beach view. Nope we had people walking by our window all the time. A NIGHTMARE !

I've stayed here several times over the past 45 years. It's a great value in my opinion. There's not many places you can walk out your beachfront door onto the beach. And there's pet friendly rooms

Great location, beautiful view, the room had everything I needed for a simple weekend away with the kids. Room was ok, beds were decent and the price was right. I would stay again.

It wasn't terrible but a few things bothered me. When asked for more tools we were told no unless exchanging the other ones. When you have 2 adults and 2 kids having two towels did not work well. Glad I packed extra just incase.
They offer a coffee pot and coffee but no filters so if you wanted to use it you had to buy your own.
They have a small mini fridge that does not have a freezer, it does however have a cooler section. But you couldn't fit much in either.
The TV was a little funky and didn't work that great unless you were up before everyone else.
They offer a tub but no ability to take a bath and the drainage wasn't great because of all the sand that gets washed off so there was always a couple inches of water so makes it pretty slippery.
The carpet outside the door smell terrible. I had to hold my breath otherwise I got nauseous and I wasn't the only one who noticed.
Their location is nice but to walk down to the beach you have to go through a patch of sand that is so saturated in pet urine it's change the color and definitely smells.
Everything around food wise was so expensive! I spent $75 at the grocery store for 2 meals, dinner and lunch, and 2 snacks. My friend got food from one of the restaurants and spent $50 on a small amount of noodles and 4 miniature corn dogs with fries.
However the view was amazing! And we had a ton of fun on the beach.

Top notch location. Room service was great. Plenty of parking, Rooms are a bit outdated and worn out. Floor is not level in room 233 so furniture had to be placed on blocks of wood to make them level. Guessing the building has some structural issues and it's not just that room that's like that.

The view is the very best part of the room we stayed in. Our family loved the location and enjoyed beach time frequently due to the location. Incredibly clean and well maintained. Loved it! Thank you!!

Mellisa is very friendly. The basic room does the job, especially with the door leading out to the ocean on the bottom floor. Thanks again for the bee sting cream :)

Loved our stay! An older motel, but kept up nicely! Rooms were clean and felt totally safe! The view and walk right onto the beach is the best part of the stay! Also so close to a great grocery store and the main strip. We would totally stay here again!

My daughter and I stay here every year for her birthday in July. Amazing staff even better location couldn't ask for better. We love watching the ocean from our room window while drinking hot chocolate in the morning. We will be back next year.

Exceptional value for a beachfront room. I had room 112 and the path to the beach was right outside my backdoor. No wonky stairs to navigate. My only concern was the tiny toilet that might be a challenge for older or larger folks. The bed was comfortable and I loved falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. There was a table, microwave, and fridge which were nice to have in a small room. I was traveling solo and felt very safe.
