I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with this Credit Union, they first told me they couldn’t give me an account but then relented and stated only under the terms that the account isn’t allowed to overdraft. So guess what? They process every single transaction and let it overdraft, then collect $35 in fees each time, even if the overdraft is 15 cents. Their overdraft protection does not work, and that’s only because they can collect off of it. On top of that they have locked my card numerous times for no good reason and I have to call them to get it working again only for them to tell me yet again “we don’t know why it’s happening.” I was always told Credit Unions were way better than big banks but this one is no different than any big bank I’ve ever been to. In fact, worse.

I highly recommend using another financial institute for auto loans. I called on 06/01/2023 and told them the new address to mail our titles to and confirmed pay off for two vehicles. I mailed the check that afternoon. The loan department claims that on 06/20/2023 they mailed our titles to our OLD address, which is in another state. My husband has spoken to them twice to inquire about the missing titles, them assuring us they were mailed. Our old address on file is my parents house, they saved every piece of mail sent to us. The titles were never sent there. Today I called again about the titles, the woman I spoke to told me there is nothing they can do because there is no record of an address change and they don't typically change addresses over the phone- something I was not informed of. However she is mailing a cashiers check to our address and closing our account. I find it very interesting that she is able to do all of that over the phone with ZERO signatures or even speaking to the main account holder (my husband). Now because of their incompetence we are required to file a lost title for two of our vehicles, which will cost us a minimum of $202 of dollars.

In our experience, this bank was decent in the recent year or so. They seem to be hiring tellers that they either don’t train properly or can’t do the simple task of listening if a bank cannot have a teller who can listen and do a simple job correctly like take money for the requested account, not what ever account they want. What would give you faith that they can do more important financial matters correctly, in my opinion, nothing.I have brought this matter up multiple times not only to the branch manager but also with the banks CEO and a year later they still cannot rectify this. Quickly loosing faith in this bank!!!

I'm in the process of teaching my husband(of 48 yrs of marriage) how to pay the bills. Have mercy on me.It's reassuring to know I have a bank that takes care of it's people. You have helped me and my family since 1967. You helped me get my 1st car when I was in hi-school.I like having a bank that I can trust.Thank you for being there.

Cascade Community is the type of personal banker I remember my Dad having. They have the perfect harmony of tech tools to make banking convenient and personal relationships to understand my business & personal banking needs. I truly cannot give Cascade CU any higher recommendation.

At this moment the Roseburg Oregon office on Harvard is under construction but even that being said I got excellent service I needed quarters to do laundry so I went through the drive-thru and requested them went and parked and they brought them out to my car meeting disabled this was very convenient I have never had a negative experience with this Bank ever since I moved to Oregon 8 years ago.

I give 5 stars for customer service ..The app sure is challenging at times ..I install Uninstaller..installed again..the only thing I got was a charge of 5 dollars for some incorrect address over something..I logged in probably 30 times in 24 hours and get a session ended while typing..get logged out trying to.change pages ...if i.ever get the app ..functioning 70 percent as good as my.other banking apps they would get5 stars ...I have a new phone all my.other apps work.fantastic..I.am.afraid touse the cascade one much until Monday as I do.not want to.be charged 5dollars and not know what it isfor

10/10 do not recommend banking here. My family has been banking at Cascade since they first opened and I have been banking here for 30 years. Unfortunately with as many issues and inconveniences in the past 4 months with this credit union I will be looking at closing my account and banking elsewhere.

Been with Cascade since 2013, and I have never had a single issue pertaining to my funds or customer service. When my card was scanned and attempted to be used out of state, they called me immediately to make sure the other big charges were mine (I was moving). Thank God I didn't have the allotted money on my card that this person tried to spend. My phone was also hijacked, so I ended up having to drive there. I was in tears thinking I was a victim of some kind of fraud! The woman from behind the counter came around and hugged me; she calmed me down and told me they had already done paperwork on my behalf and since no money was spent, I didn't have to file a report. I was so grateful. Also, Haley is AWESOME! So nice to deal with locals, especially those I went to school either! Thank you, Cascade. Highly reccommend.

Recently joined Cadcade and so far not impressed. Online banking is a joke. If it's not corrected soon I'm moving my $$$ elsewhere. Update online banking has improved 100% Bank tellers are very nice and helpful. Changing from 2 stars to 5 stars

I've had a Cascade account since I was a teenager. Very user-friendly mobile app and website. Such excellent customer service when I walk in for assistance! Loan processes are a breeze here as well.
