This pharmacy is always a disappointment. Every time I come, there’s a long line that moves painfully slow. They always seem short-staffed, and most of the employees move at a snail’s pace. The only bright spot is the Asian lady (not sure of her name) she’s the only one who actually puts in effort and tries to help customers. Management really needs to step it up and do better for the people who rely on this pharmacy.

16 people in line for prescription pickup and only one employee working checkout… this is what happens every time I come here. It’s no wonder so many people moving to getting their scripts online. I have been waiting on this line for over 20 min and still there are 8 people ahead of me.

I started using Safeway after being an Albertsons customer for decades. I have been very impressed by how much better they are than Albertsons! They fill prescriptions very quickly, all my interactions have been professional and they even answer the phone!

Always have had good experience and I refill my prescriptions once a month here! Have been out of my meds once or twice but that's out of their control! Always friendly and helpful! No complaints! I will say much better the Albertsons pharmacy which I was at before they closed!

They'll tell you prescriptions are done I drive 60 miles and they're not done four days later you go back they said they're done then they send a prescriptions back I'm done with them

My doctor prescribed a medication that cost hundreds of dollars. I called the pharmacy and spoke to Pharmacy Tech Chelsea. Because of her diligence and patience I saved hundreds of dollars . Thank You Chelsea!

So I went to pickup my prescription that I was told was ready and to check on another prescription that was okayed by me to refill 4 days earlier.
After walking to Safeway in 29 degree weather, (I can’t drive currently because I have a broken neck), I was told one prescription had been put back on the self because I didn’t get to Safeway fast enough and the other had not been filled yet.
Both of these prescriptions I’ll have to take the rest of my life, daily.
How can Safeway make this process so difficult?

Most every time I go I end up waiting what feels like eternity! The staff has always been polite and courteous but when I’m standing in line, looking at five, people in the back doing whatever they’re doing and one cashier and the line 15 deep with people waiting, kinda gets to me. I think I’m gonna be switching to mail order such a waste of time

I’m honestly shocked at the reviews People have left about this Pharmacy. They have always gone above and beyond their job description further clients. Anything other than that out of control. I’ve watched people yell at them scream at them, belittle them because of something that was out of their control. I will forever be a client of how they’ve treated me. I am grateful for everything that they do. They deserve more credit because they’re just amazing.

I tried to transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy, but the original pharmacy said they didn’t receive a transfer request. I called Safeway to tell them, and they couldn’t have cared less. I had to ask them to please send again, but I don’t think they didI gave up and went to Fred Myers.
