The teller secretary is absolutely a saboteur who withholds important information and cannot even confirm a simple appointment time via email. I highly recommend not dealing with this branch at all for any reason, as they are not knowledgeable or helpful at all.

We have reached out to Schwab over a dozen times since we opened an account 2 months ago, as we somehow got a restriction put on our account even though we submitted all of the documents and did everything asked of us. We cannot reach anyone who can help us with our account being restricted. Constant redirects, holds, and hang ups - I am extremely displeased by my experience with Schwab and its employees, I have never gotten a call back and no one has reached out by email, message, phone call or otherwise to help get our account fixed. I expect much better from a financial institution - this is totally unacceptable. How many times do you want to contact your company before you can use it's services? Tonight I reached yet another associate who, while nice, could do nothing for my problem. He gave me yet another number to try, and recommended I send an internal message. I am hopeful, but if my prior experience has anything to show, this too will be futile, and I'll find myself contacting Schwab once again after waiting only to find no response to my queries and reaching no one who can actually help. If you value your time and want to do business with a company who values you as a customer, find a different investment company.

I have been with John Smith a little over a year. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service or advice. This is a very professional office and they have always been able to help. Their advice has lead to very healthy gains in our portfolio. And I trust them very much with our financial security. I recommend them without hesitation!!! Than you John and Melanie!!!

I love Charles Schwab but I would recommend using one of their financial adviser's in another branch. On Aug 7th I had a meeting to setup two accounts and get some advice. I called to inform them I was running ten minutes late and when I arrived, John, was meeting with a couple who had walked in. Instead of my scheduled meeting with John I spoke with his wife Melanie. She setup the two accounts without any problems and I left with the plan to follow up with John and have several questions answered. Some questions where time sensitive and others were for future planning. The following day I called and talked to Preston to get John's email address. Melanie didn't have a card to give me the previous day and I couldn't find an email address on Schwab's website. Preston didn't know it off the top of his head but was able to look it up. I sent two emails to John and waited for a response. After three days I hadn't gotten any response or even acknowledgment that they had received my emails. I called and again talked to Preston. He verified that I used the correct email and said that John would call me in a few minutes which he did. He apologized and said he had been busy and started reading my email questions. They primarily involved a trust and it was late in the day on Friday so we agreed he would look into it further on Monday and get back to me. Eleven days later I had not heard anything I called and asked Preston if I could talk to Melanie. Knowing she was John's wife and she had originally setup my accounts maybe she could help me. She apologized and said she would go over my emails with John and one of them would get back to me in a few hours after lunch. That was two days ago. To date I have contacted their office several times, they have continually told me they would get back to me and I have yet to receive a single answer to any of my original questions. The time window that I needed some of my questions answered came and went. I would recommend anyone needing service from Schwab to work with the offices of Eugene or Bend. I have had good experiences with both. Actually I got more answers from an online chat with a Schwab employee than I got from John and Melanie in the Salem Branch.
