I've been going here for 10 years, had transmission replaced awesome job. Engine rebuild on a 2012 subaru outback and now a 07 Ford F150 XLT should be done in a couple weeks. Always guaranteed the work.

DO NOT GO HERE
Parked it there and was going to have the transmission looked at for a sensor and got a bad feeling to not get it worked on so I told them 10 minutes after dropping it off to not work on it. When I went to pick it up they wanted to charge me 100$ for “test driving and scanning it (one hour worth of work)” I set a trip odometer and they didn’t drive it at all. After telling them I didn’t think it was fair to pay 100$ when I told them not to work on it they told me to get out and that they never wanted to see me again. I do not recommend. Go somewhere else for any mechanical issues unless you like getting scammed.

Our Chevy wouldn’t start. So we had it towed to Cherry City Transmission, during the past holiday week and they took it right in and checked everything in the ignition & electrical. Very thorough and great attention to detail. Jeff, our mechanic, kept us posted during every stage of the troubleshooting. It was fixed when he said it would be fixed, and at a very reasonable cost for parts & labor. Highly recommend! When something else goes wrong with my truck, and I know it will, I’ll be calling on Cherry City Transmission again. Thanks, Jeff! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The adage of "you get what you pay for" came true with my experience with Cherry City transmission. They were by far the least expensive estimate and well... I got what I paid for.
Round 1: I took my Subaru to get the clutch repaired. They got me in quickly and completed the job in a timely manner, BUT... it then had a new clunking noise, so I took it back.
Round 2: They found that they hadn't tightened an engine mount bolt. They tightened it and said I'm "good to go". Pretty shoddy and unsafe work. And it STILL had a Clunking noise so back I went.
Round 3: They said they found where the brake shield had gotten bent during the repair, and they bent it back and I was “good to go”. I went to pick it up after-hours and I didn't make it 50' before clunk-clunk-clunk. So, I left it there. Do they not test-drive after making repairs?
Round 4: I went back and the owner finally agreed to go with me on a drive. It took a bit to reproduce the clunk and in the process he insulted me by trying to claim the noise was always there and that I'm just now attuned to it. Categorically false! I got it to make the noise and he agreed there was a problem, but still tried to deflect any responsibility.
Round 5: He agreed to replace the CV axle if I pay for the part, and I agreed. He later called and said, instead of replacing the axle, they greased the old one and that fixed it. So back I went. I made it home without any clunks. Time will tell.
I couldn't understand why he backed off on his promise to replace the CV axle and why he was so confident that a little grease on the axle would fix the problem. While this last fix did seem to quiet the clunk, I am suspicious of his claim that grease fixed it. Considering all the other mistakes they made and lack of quality control, perhaps there was something else they discovered that they weren’t wanting to fess up to?
The bottom line is that they made a lot of careless mistakes and released my car numerous times with obvious issues. I had to really pester them to get it right. I was weeks without a functioning car and between me and my ride helpers it took at least 10 roundtrips to the shop. They ultimately took care of the problems but I have little confidence this job was done correctly.

I've had my transmission for 7 years and I can't express the true love for my car, she still runs like it was yesterday. Thank you all who sweated on my baby and gave her a new heart.

Had my clutch replaced here and so far everything has been great. They beat the price of all the shops I called. They used quality parts and the service was done quickly.

I've been bringing my vehicles here for service for many years, and plan to continue. The owner and staff have always been helpful and honest with me. I'm so thankful to have a shop that I trust in town!

Tried to bring my car here for differential flush. They recommended I go to jiffy lube. I’m not a huge fan of being turned away from an auto mechanic for auto work but at least they were nice about it and saved me a trip down.
**Update** Changed to 1 star for verification of poor customer service via reply. You can be nice and still offer poor customer service. You never once asked me my timeline, I had several days to leave my car with you for simple services but you never asked me anything. You just pushed me to another shop that couldn't even provide the proper service. It is better to ask what people need rather than tell them what they need.
