My cat left this place bleeding and 3 days later we had to take her to the vet for swollen/cut eye. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE

i've been here like twice and the first time i actually liked because my cat didn't have any cuts or dried out blood on him. this time around i got ripped off because supposedly he had fleas which isn't true because i had just bought my cats flea medication i was like whatever okay. but when i get home im checking him out and it looks like they rush in trying to groom animals. my cat had a cut on his ear not only do i take my cat but my dog as well she had dried up blood everywhere, she even got rashes on her belly because they cut out her fur too much! like where can i find somewhere professional to go to!? never bringing my cat here again

Nell is the best! Our cat, as lovable and sweet as he is most days, hates having his paws handled and gets very skittish about it. He will scratch and bite as a defense when scared, so it's important that the person doing his nails is experienced with cats and experienced at getting the nails trimmed quickly and safely. Nell does that. He's in and out of the salon before he can react.I've learned to call ahead and ask for Nell to make sure she's in before bringing our cat. This helps them know to expect him and makes certain the right person is available to get his nails trimmed.I highly recommend Nell at Claws and Paws for cat trims, especially for the skittish kitties.

Claws and paws is horrible. I took my cat in for a grooming. I specifically said "Do not cut any of the matted hair by butt." This was because my vet had told me that because of the treatments my cat was getting. When I picked her up, she was practically shaved bald on her entire backside. The response was that the had to do it because it was "necessary." I asked for an apology and a refund. At that point I was asked to leave.

Dropped my corgi off at 8 am and he was done by 10am. He smells sooo good and they gave him a cute little Halloween bandana. They trimmed his hairs and shaped his corgi butt perfectly. lol. Can’t wait to take him back!

I used to like Claws and Paws. But yesterday was too much. I brought my dog for grooming and trim (which usually they would finish in 2-3 hours). After over 5 hours we still didn't get any call and decided to drive there anyway. When we got there, my dog was in a crate, they say he was drying. When they pulled him out he looked almost dry to me, it means he was sitting hours and hours wet in the crate. Then we waited there and they were finishing everything else - trim, nail trim, getting rid of knots. We waited there and my dog was there total of 6 and half hours with them basically finishing everything in the last hour. Also when he was on the table he was shaking. I have never seen him shaking. He might not be a fan of grooming but he loves people. I will not take him back.

Brought in my Havanese for the works, I always check for hair mats before grooming, he only had a few small ones. I gave the grooming requests, rounded ears, cute trimmed feet (not rat feet), teddy bear or puppy cute face, clean butt and tail, leaving the tail a little long but trimmed up at the base. The appt. took several hours and cost more then expected. The only trimming instruction followed, was his ears. Histail was combed out, left to drag the ground, his face looked like a scotty dog, and he has rat feet. I paid a lot and had to fix his hair cut at home. My daughter said he looks ugly and I swear he was crying

Took my cats to be flea treated and it was their first time ever going to a groomers. One of my cats was howling the whole way there and at drop off. But when I picked them up he was a normal calm boy and staff said they both did so well. The staff were friendly and gave some great advice on keeping fleas away. Pricing was very affordable and definitely worth it! Thank you guys so much, I will definitely use you again if ever needed
