I would like to thank Shanna Lee for the great assistance yesterday with some issues that we had. She went above and beyond and took her time to get everything right. I highly recommend this branch.

Leaving Umpqua Bank wasn't an impulsive choice. It stemmed from a series of escalating events that unfolded over time, each adding a layer of frustration to my banking experience. The abrupt closure of the branch where I initiated my account, alongside another nearby location, without any prior notification, marked the beginning of my disillusionment. However, it was during my final visit that the breaking point was reached. As I queued in the drive-thru, waiting to make a deposit before a hospital visit, time seemed to stretch endlessly. The car ahead remained immobile for over 20 minutes, exacerbating the mounting tension in the line of vehicles.Inside the bank, the atmosphere mirrored the stagnant scene outside. Staff members, including the manager, appeared detached and indifferent to the plight of waiting customers. Despite attempts to draw attention to the situation, responses, or eye contact were non-existent, further fueling my frustration.Unable to endure the interminable wait any longer, I made the decision to abandon the drive-thru and venture inside. What awaited me was no better—a scene of disarray and neglect. The manager, tasked with addressing customer concerns, seemed oblivious. Her lack of awareness was staggering. She didn't seem to realize the extent of the backlog, the stagnant line, or the exasperation of waiting customers. With each inquiry, her responses grew increasingly vague and evasive. After finally abandoning the drive-thru, knowing I couldn't afford to wait for another half an hour, I confronted the manager about the issues plaguing the branch. Her baffling response, laden with excuses and deflections, only served to underscore the systemic dysfunction within Umpqua Bank. With poor customer service, dishonesty, inconvenient locations, lack of 24-hour customer service, and most notably, the absence of 24-hour fraud support, there is simply no reason to bank with Umpqua Bank anymore. Their failure to notify customers about changes to ATM deposit capabilities, while still collecting late fees, further highlights their disregard for customer well-being and is something which needs to be looked into? How can a bank charge a customer a late fee if they don't have the ability to deposit funds? This wasn't the case for me, I can just imagine. As I leave Umpqua Bank, I do so with the certainty that my financial future is better served elsewhere. It's time to seek a banking partner that prioritizes transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

I feel like a huge idiot. I couldn't deposit money into the ATM. That's fine. I pull up to the drive thru teller instead. I thought they would greet me when they were ready for me. Nope! The person working the window tonight, short dark hair, totally ignored me.

You can't deposit cash at the old columbia bank atms. Lame step backward. They already don't have hours that extend later for working people. Now you can't even deposit at the atm. Why would you want to bank with this business.

I would give negative stars if I could, I have banked with Umpqua for years and have always received excellent service. It seems this was a Columbia bank before the 2 banks merged together and the staff at this location is awful. I recommend staying away from this location if you would like to be treated as a decent human being. After they refused to honor a check from a car accident settlement based on the fact that they don't "think I'm good for it" (those were the manager's actual words) I will be taking my business elsewhere. The check was from AAA and the "Manager" was just insulting.

Came to buy a roll of Quarters. Opps, can't pay with your Visa debit. Do you have an ATM ? Yes, outside but we cannot sell you a roll of quarters. OK, just let me buy $8 in quarters. Sorry can't sell any, unless you have an account with us. Sorry it's the bank's policy. Great policy. And all because I needed to use a clothes buyer. [[You need to have an account with them to do ANY kind of business.]]

Broke my ankle here because, during a medical emergency where I needed a bathroom, I had to convince them while my bp collapsed. All this took time and energy I didn't have, so I basically fainted, falling on top of my ankle and snapping it.They had no medical supplies and did not offer to help me beyond giving me a glass of water. I had to bother them to get trashbags so i had something to wrap myself with. I was treated like an inconvenience the entire time. They took my number, and even at the time it seemed theatrical more than sincere. No one ever called. Their moto says something about caring about people, and my 2 months in a cast are proof otherwise.Get basic medical supplies. Let people use your restroom. Hire someone to clean it if it's that big of a deal. Humans need bathrooms.

Chad Fraley made the very unpleasant experience of having a check book stolen into a customer experience masterclass.

Take your money somewhere else. I have never been more disappointed with customer service.

Slowest customer service. Always an excuse. If you are short handed, hire more people. There is no excuse for having to waiting 15-25 minutes in line.

In the past year this branch has gone downhill. I'll drive way out of my normal commute to hit ANY of the other Columbia banks.

Came on my lunch break, waited 15 minutes, no service, really needed to deposit my check, couldn't wait any longer as I had to get back to work. I understand places get busy but they should have had more than one person working the front.
