Probably the WORST experiences that I have had at a tire store in my life. We had been buying our tires at Costco in Salem. I am sorry to say that the customer service that we received was terrible. On top of that, we had a tire that was supposed to be replaced under warranty due to side wall damage. We picked up the car and I did not notice it until a few weeks later that the SAME tire with a cut in the side wall was STILL on the car. We paid the pro-rated difference on the tire as well. Unbelievable.We were so busy dealing with things going on in our lives (my wife on chemotherapy) that I never went back and confronted them. My experience with their staff is that they acted like they were doing customers a favor by them being there. No smiles. They acted like me and others in the waiting area were invisible. We were just ignored. Then, when we needed help, they acted like we were taking advantage of the warranty. Oh well.... We're NEVER going back to Costco.Oh yeah. If you want a tire store that has AMAZING customer service and great prices, go to Discount Tire on Lancaster. I guarantee you that when you walk in the door that you will see what I mean. They're AWESOME!

HUGE shout out and thank you to Mike. I popped my tire on my way out of Costco gas station at 8:15 am, slowly drove over to the tire center to wait until they opened at 9:30 to get some help since it was pouring rain. Mike happened to see me drive by and offered to open up the garage early to get my spare on. I think he would’ve helped me get a new tire but I’d made a big dent in my wheel. I’m so appreciative of his help, he totally saved my day when he absolutely didn’t have to.

when we got out of costco, we discovered that one of our tires was flat. Mike and the other tire center employees had us pull up i to the tire bay and took care of changing our flat for us, took maybe 15 minutes total. great customer service, and we really appreciate them scooting us in last minute to swap our spare onto the van for us!

The guys who assisted me were great. The service was faster than expected, and they were clear in their reminders of what comes next (lug check, etc.). Highly recommend!

Prices are great however for us olders just be prepared, no waiting room (meaning you sit at the food court at the other end of building), only access to tire center is by going through the huge store. Only way to communicate, while waiting, is by phone (which we do no always carry). What they lack in convenience they make up for in price. That being said consider making your own arrangements to drop off the car if getting your 10,000 steps in, or sitting at the food court ain't your jam.

Came here yesterday to purchase a gas fire pit and I've never left Costco so frustrated before. The fire pits were stacked above my head and are pretty heavy so I looked around for 20 min for assistance, couldn't get any. So I manage to get into a cart by myself with minimal damage to myself. Then went to the shortest line with my one item and it happened to be the self checkout. The lady who was overseeing the self checkout came screaming at me about how the orange carts are not allowed in self checkout. I was humiliated and apologized profusely saying I was sorry I didn't know. She made it sound like she was doing me a huge favor by "allowing it this one time". As I was about to exit the store after paying for my purchase I swung by the membership desk to confirm their policy on not allowing the orange carts, shocking they're allowed. So to sum up my visit they have people standing by the registers doing nothing but holding a clipboard while people in the store are needing assistance, they allow their employees to berate customers for made up policies and they don't particularly care. Won't go back to this location.

Costco apparently has a big sale this week on dead auto batteries. I bought two, neither of which worked because neither of them had a charge despite their representations to the contrary. Went to Walmart and had a functioning charged battery in the Honda in less than 10 minutes. i'll buy some gas at Costco and if I'm ever in the market for a dead car battery, I might consider them, but it when it comes to actually functioning batteries or other automotive services I will pass them by as an unreliable vendor.

They installed a tire pressure sensor in my spare, so the tire pressure warning light would turn off. It didn’t turn off so I brought the car back as they recommended to have them try to sync it. They are now telling me they don’t have the right tool to remove the spare tire. The same spare tire they removed a few days earlier. I called the manager and he tells me to bring the car in tomorrow, and that they can remove the tire to fix the problem, but “it might cause damage to my car when they remove the tire”. Huh?!?! All of this took 2 visits lasting over 4 hours. Never again.

Love the spring when Costco gets in their healthy plants, potting soil and trees. They have a good selection this year. Never disappointed!

The store itself is nice but that's not what I'm reviewing here. The hot dog went down hill. Bring back the Polish please. What happened to the sauerkraut and the onion chopper. For a 1.50 it used to be the best bang for your buck. I wish there was someone i could talk to about it. I feel like we should all start a page to bring the Polish dog back along with the onions and kraut. Am I the only one?

It's a Costco and you already know what to expect . Stopped for a quick grocery haul on our way to Portland and was able to get everything except for eggs , which are anyways a luxury item these days and hard to find . The store was clean and otherwise well stocked and the employees helpful and cheerful.

I made an appointment to get the tires I purchased at Costco rotated. They were busy when I got there and was told me it could be up to an hour wait. They asked for my cell # and said they'd call me when they were done. 2 hours later, I figured I'd better check as to why they hadn't called me yet and stopped at their register. They said they were just finishing up and to come around back and pick up my truck. When I got my truck home, it was missing a wheel cap. I drove back to Costco and talked to the tire center and they told me to order a new wheel cap and they'd reimburse me. I came back a third time with my receipt for reimbursement. They told me they wanted me to email a copy of the receipt to them and wrote down an email address for me to mail it to. When I got home, I emailed the receipt to the email address they provided me with and then email came back to me as an invalid email address.

A lady in a red vest came up to me and told me to other line check out or I have to scanned those item by my self .I can do it by myself with the cream cheese, But 16 bottles of frying oil also want me to do it by my self? those who holding wireless scanner what are they doing for!? costco pays them to perform and you be the clown?! I keep the name of the person this time, and next time I promise to make a real-name complaint.
