They will lie to you. They will take what they can from you. They won't help you. They will actually stand directly in the way of your personal finances. They are, without a doubt, the worst banking institution I have ever belonged to. (That includes Wells Fargo and Chase)I will activate discourage every person and business I know from doing any banking or other financial business with them. You should avoid them at all costs.Your money is better off with your local street dealer.

There is never a line in the drive thru teller, or not in the many times I have been there.

A curious Bank. I'm old enough to remember when there was a bank called first interstate, which was acquired by another bank called Wells Fargo. Just this first interstate is not the same first interstate from some 25-30 years ago. But then I guess that is showing my age. Overall at the bank

Charged me a 1600$ fee for lapsing 20 days on a 2900$ auto loan! They just tacked it on my loan, I now owe 3500$!! They raised my "Fixed" premium by 80$ without notifying me. Nobody knows why, including the manager. Incredibly dysfunctional bank, problem after problem. New faces every time I go in. Zero Stars if I could. Just stay away!

If you are considering a mortgage with Tammy Flemming at First Interstate, please go elsewhere. She was unprofessional, rude and spiteful. We had to get an attorney to move her forward and even then she held up to the last minute to try to sabotage our loan. I have never in my professional career had a loan officer write me an email in all caps that she bolded red. Our broker commented she has never seen anything of the like. Please, for your personal well-being and peace of mind, go elsewhere.

I absolutely love this bank! They have been the most helpful to me in every way. Disputes or regular transactions have all been handled with pleasant folks. I'm sorry they closed all but one branch but I still love them.

No longer Bank of the Cascades. First Interstate Bank acquired them. Already have closed branches (Salem) and laid off staff. First Interstate Bank sent out mortgage demand letters in error to people who did not have mortgage loans with Bank of the Cascades. BOC customers first told during transition they would not need to buy new checks or change account numbers for a year, only to send out letters in July 2017 saying account numbers will be changed effective Aug 12, 2017 (therefore my checks are no good). We are done. Hello MAPS Credit Union.

Tried to be patient with these people, but after a few years of dysfunction and never ending problems I gave up and closed my account. Probably one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They way they do online banking is becoming a problem very similar to what B of A just got sued for. Very bad choice, Bluebird seems to be a better alternative.

I have the misfortune of going to this sorry excuse of a bank twice per month for last two years. Every time I cash my paycheck i am harrassed either for a second form of i.d., told that the company card (that has been issued to me from my employer, through the bank; and has my god forsaken name printed on it!) isnt acceptable, even though the card from my credit union with my name on it just the same is an acceptable 2nd i.d. Further more, my money is just put in the drive through drawer without any envelope; nor even a receipt. On occasion that I've asked about such practices I was treated as an idiot for asking. This is by far the worst bank ever. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to bank with that three ring circus. If I could give em 0 stars I sure would. Failbank of Oregon should be their name. Just cash my danged check you waterheads!
