Ordered shoes online from this store. Obviously, I paid for them when doing so. Anxiously awaited the order only to find out they had canceled and refunded me because they were out of stock. Don't have something available to buy if you don't have it available. ?

Just went to exchange some dansko shoes my mom had bought for work. She was told that she had 30 days to return or exchange the shoes. There was nothing there that she has to return them in "original condition" or with the same packaging. Just the days. She likes the shoes that she bought but the return policy that this store has is atrocious. The girl that "helped" with the return was extremely rude saying that because of the dirt on the bottom of the shoes she can't exchange them. My mom works 10 hour shifts at a hospital and she normally wears these kinds of shoes all the time. But these were uncomfortable. All she wanted to do was exchange them but she wasn't even allowed to do that. If I could give this store a 0 star for their horrible service I would. Will not be returning here again.

My family and I would highly recommend this particular show store for the service and good shoes. The price is kind of high, but worth it.

Went in with my grandfather in the hopes to find him a new pair of shoes. The associate Benjamin was super helpful and made it such a quick and smooth experience. Definitely will be returning in the future.

Service quality seems to have gone down recently. When I went there recently, they had four employees all hovering around the computer and looking at their phone's chit chatting about how another store was doing better sales than them that day. I had to wait a while before anyone offered to help despite no one doing anything.When I finally decided on the shoe I wanted, Vanessa said they'd call me back if it could be ordered. Got a call back, saying they could, but they almost ordered me a shoe I did not want. With all orders being final and no way to return the shoe if I didn't like it... I'm glad I caught their mistake. Someone who is timid, or a people pleaser, probably would have gone ahead and ordered the wrong shoe.Once they told me the model number to look up online, I saw it was the wrong shoe and chose not to buy it. They were immediately cold with me and hung up as fast as possible, didn't even try to offer me an alternative I might like. Not the experience I am used to in that store. I'm just going to buy the boots I want online and have the reassurance of a return policy minus the attitude of lazy salespeople. I'll be more than happy to change this review if their management can get a grasp on the issues in this store.

My all-time favorite shoes store! I don;t even care if I shop anywhere else, including online. Best selection of really wonderful shoe brands, they always have my size (which is a woman's 11 and that's not something you can find everywhere) and the staff is always super helpful. It might be slightly more expensive, or not, but it's totally worth it!

My wife and I had a great experience at this location today,The staff was friendly and helpful as always, we had an expensive pair of shoes that needed to be repaired (not shoes from this store). We ran a few errands and to our surprise they called and had it affordably repaired in just a few hours. This is the second time we have had a pair of shoes repaired at this location. Additionally, we have purchased shoes and insoles from them in the past with positive experiences.We like coming to this store and will continue coming in the future.Thank you.

Excellent shoe shop. Excellent selection of brands and styles, especially running/walking shoes. Clean and orderly and well-staffed by pleasant, helpful, patient staff. The shopping experience is infinitely better than self-serve discount places, and the prices are comparable.

BRAVO Footwear Express, Salem! I am pleased and completely satisfied buying shoes from Footwear Express, Salem. The store is large with a big inventory. I came in the store needing help. I'm not an easy fit, with long skinny feet, and left foot longer than right. Joel helped me, he competently measured my feet and explained his findings. He then returned with 3 different sneakers, and then more for me to try. He was patient, and I found two pairs. Upon returning home, an 80 mile drive to the Oregon coast I laced the top eyelets of my Hoka pair and found a missing eyelet on the left shoe. I called the shop and was asked to send a photo of the problem. In less than an hour after sending the photo I was sent a return postage paid label for mailing. I boxed the shoes and took them to the post office. The next day I received a phone call from Kaleena verifying the shoes had been received and my account was credited. I appreciate this professional, competent and courtesous business. I highly recommend shopping at Footwear Express, Salem!

Stopped at 4 different stores and - the service here was the best; can’t compare the selection and assistance to the discount shoe stores. Found a nice pair of sandals. They also have a clearance rack with good styles

Got a pair of Birkenstocks as a gift, wore for few hours and with Birkenstocks being easily impressionable you could see small amount of imprint. Tried to exchange and the lady at the front was very rushed, dismissive, and rough in her customer service. Tried speaking the Bruce the manager and he was the same way asking “well, you wouldn’t want to purchase shoes that looked worn.” When all I was trying to figure out about going to get them exchanged.Very poor customer service skills.

Thanks to Lisa for helping me find a better fit for me. The Dansko slip ons were not going to work. Lisa really understands those who need a supportive shoe with arch support. And a huge shout out to Bruce for fixing the straps so the Allegria's fit perfectly!

Gonna have to say one star... here from Eugene and beat cheeks to slide in before 6... 5:58 and doors locked, but a gal came and said that yes they had ecco's for long narrow feet... you'll have to come back again. I get it... but, then again... I'm willing to drop $150/180 for a great show in less than 10.
