Same as everyone else has already said, the owner of the store is very restrictive with his own personal mask policy and requirements. I wanted to get our kids some toys on clearance as a reward for getting vaccinated but the first greeting walking into the store was "do you have any other masks?" Not a "good afternoon thanks for coming in" I was wearing a mask covering my nose, mouth and chin and while it was a mesh mask the owner provided no accommodations to even offer a mask to cover it up and simply said it's not his job to pay for masks. It's not his job to however, for each customer such as myself who was ready and willing to spend money he lost money simply by not offering a mask that met whatever special standards he had set that must exceed the requirements to cover your nose, mouth and chin. Sadly it's only a temporary business and almost to the last day however l, would be happy to go back in and support this business if they were more accommodating and had a better attitude about masks especially for those that do wear a mask already even if it doesn't meet the owners special requirements especially when he is unwilling to provide basic surgical masks to customers who forgot a mask or have a mask that he doesn't approve of.

I have no problem wearing a mask. I wore a cdc approved mask tonight. It covered my mouth, my nose and the lower half of my glasses. It is clear plastic and it protects better than any cloth mask. Nothing gets by it. It doesn't soak up the germs. Yet tonight for the first time since masks were required, I was kicked out. I wore this mask into multiple go calendar stores the last Christmas and multiple times. On average I spend around $100+ a year and so does my bf. We will no longer. The girl behind the counter said I couldn't come in because I didn't have a go calendar approved mask. Even though my mask met thier sign requirements for masks. I explained that my mask covers more than even her mask. She said the managers rules. So then my bf asked to speak to the manager who, we were then told wasn't there. I then asked for a go calendar approved mask that they are requiring, and was told no. They didn't have any. I don't leave the house often. I rarely go out shopping. Everything I need can be bought online and delivered. But I really liked this store and wanted to go and support it. I put on my knee braces and went out in the snow and then was happy to see they were still open. Only to be greeted with "you can't come in here" Yelled at me from across the store. "Not hi welcome, we have a mask policy and sorry but yours doesn't meet our requirements, here, if you want to stay you can wear this one." Then a Karen near by told me to respect the rules. I was wearing a mask!!! The same one I wore the last time I was there. Go calendar wants to treat its customers that way, well they don't need my money. If you have specific requirements then you need to provide your specific masks. Luckily none of the other stores in the mall had a problem with my mask and they were happy to let me shop. I don't believe they have the right to kick people out who are wearing a MASK.

I went into the store today to purchase some games for a upcoming trip. The owner accused me of not wearing my mask properly. I walked out. I could hear him talking negatively about me to the customer at the counter. I know that this kid is a l***** who lives off his step dad who is a local Dr. He obviously isn't listening to his step dad because MASKS DON'T WORK. A Healthy immune system does. I will be happy to spend my money elsewhere.

My daughter and I went into this store to buy a child's toy for a Birthday. The owner accused me of not wearing my mask properly. He used profanity and threatening language towards myself and my daughter causing my daughter to feel scared, threatened, shake, and cry. When I tried to explain that I was wearing my mask properly, he told me to get the hell out of his store. Not only will we ever go back, but we will be following up with authorities, the Better Business Bureau, and mall management for his harassing and threatening behavior

Well, it's better than mall 205, but really that's not saying much. The mall in general is OK, and it's good to have a parking garage, but more than a few of the stores are definitely in need of better upkeep or major renovation. There seems to be more one-off stores here than at other malls, if that's your thing. I expected to see some holiday weekend sales going on at the major retailers but it seemed the opposite was true, and even out of season clearance items were priced higher than they could be purchased elsewhere in season. One thing I did see a ton of- security, plain clothed. Almost more than customers. That was weird.

Security needs improved! Security at every entrance would be spendy, but you may get more customers or family. After many trips here and the other side of the block at TJ MAX and Ross in the center no more. They really need to up the security here. Every time I go there with my kids, I've had aggressive homeless people begging off of me. One got in my face and scared my daughters, all while smoking begging me for money. My daughter has asthma and my baby. If you really want piss someone off beg off of them while smoking making their kids breathe it, while you're putting your baby in their car seat.Today one that peed their pants comes in Ross cuts in front of me says weird stuff almost pushing me out of the way. Nothing against the homeless, but don't be aggressive towards families and other people. Top that say weird things to people and their families Have some manners and be civilized. You're more likely to score some change. I will never go back here. If I do I will have my concealed carry handgun on me. My kids are scared to go back here. Ruined are shopping experience every time. Worth the trip for safe shopping and no harassing behavior. To bad because it's fun to walk around in there in the winter and few unique places to shop.

As the person stated before me, the guy working there was borderline harassing kids about putting things where they belong etc. I can understand that must be frustrating. Then again, if you're irritated by kids moving things you probably shouldn't work at a toy store! We left immediately after this guy followed kids around. Lost our business.

Was very displeased with this location, the cashier who has long dark hair and glasses , had her boyfriend walking around the store telling customers “they needed to learn how to put stuff back” if you moved or turned a item wrong he would stand behind you and tweak the item , very rude guy to customers wasn’t even a associate,. Not a good atmosphere for little children when they walk into a “toy store” and are excited about toys and have this random man following them around .

It's a great little Mall, especially for the locals! I know that my Mall is crap, with basically no stores, so almost anything is better! But what enhances this Mall, is the fact that it's surrounded by the local places! I'd definitely check it out!

On our recent trip to Salem, Oregon we realized that we had quite a bit of time to kill. We wanted to go to a museum of mental health at a hospital in Salem but they didn't open until noon and we were kind of wondering what else to do. We decided a good time killer was to go to the Salem Center until the museum opened. This mall is located in downtown and though this mall seems a bit older it didn't seem anywhere near a "dying" stage that so many older malls are subject to. Most of the store fronts are filled, I only noticed two vacant store fronts inside. The majority of the shops here are your typical mall fare, ditto for what you come across at the food court too. There are a handful mom and pop shops in the mall too. There is a antique shop and an awesome Indian import store is what I came across. The layout to the mall is a bit unusual but the signage is good and that makes up for any unusual corridors. If you get here early parking is plentiful and free. You can even stroll around downtown a bit once you are done with the mall but as the day goes on the parking spots go fast. I feel the phase of my life where I was all about shopping malls have past but I had a good time here and actually made more purchases at this mall than I was intending to which made me feel like I was reliving days of youth.
