Wow, the customer service and the store's organization were awesome. Like, the clothes were sorted by color and size, which was super helpful when I was in a hurry. The store was really clean too!

We just visited this location and I have to say I was impressed how clean and organized this Goodwill looked. I honestly appreciate that!! I tried to make a manage aware of it but she seemed busy at the time of checkout. Must visit!!

Everything is SO expensive. $24.99 for used clothing and $6.99 for items that came from the dollar store? No thanks. It’s an absolute rip off.

Saw an employee send another employee back with a cart full of items to mark up, told her to google prices. I asked a supervisor if this was a common practice in goodwill locations, she said yes. I miss when goodwill didn't mark up their items outrageously and you could actually save money on things, find cool hidden treasures, etc. Corporate greed is so sad. The employees there are nice at the very least, im sure this practice is something encouraged by corporate. But it still sucks for customers. If I wanted to pay brand new price for something I would just buy it new...
Edit: I appreciate the response, however I think the numbers you quoted for this location are WAY off. I have lived and shopped here for over four years, the average prices you are quoting are about half what I typically see. I initially left this out of my review but I have numerous times found used yogurt containers marked up when buying them from winco or walmart would be several dollars cheaper, plus they come with yogurt. I have seen clothing with stains or rips for anywhere near $8-$12 often. Near halloween one year I found used personal lubricant and when bringing it to an employees attention she was also appauled. I dont think the prices are fair for this location, especially considering these types of mishaps being quite common. I have been to other goodwills and while sometimes the prices aren't great I feel this location in particular struggles with pricing things decently. The services goodwill provides sound wonderful, however the service I am seeking is thrift store prices at a thrift store.

I went today and it looked okay but the prices were outrageous for used stuff I looked around but couldn't find a lot in my size I'm a XS and a lot of the XS was way to expensive for what I would buy and I could barely even look the clothing was to pushed together and a rude worker yelled at me and then there was the longest line to try on clothes and the worker that was like helping kinda creeped me out... Probably might visit again if I have to but over all wasn't great

This is a very clean and organized thrift store, even the staff was friendly. But, $25 for a used electronic or $14.99 for a pair of Jean shorts is wild. I can go buy those new for the same price. Which I did. But the store was pleasant for shopping and I know the employees don’t make the prices.

A well stocked store. The prices are a bit high for resale. Some of the racks were so full it was difficult to sort through. This location seems smaller than other Goodwill Stores.

I tried to drop some things off this Saturday which included some household items and clothing. All of it was in excellent condition, none of it junk. The person working there was on the verge of being almost hostile, made me go through each item with them. I understand people donate junk and that is not fair for Goodwill to have to then deal with but the person working was super rude for no reason at all. The items they rejected were things like brand new shelves that I even included the hardware? So, just be aware that they are very picky when it comes to donations, I guess?

Staff are generally great at these salem locations.. HOWEVER!,
I among the rest of the world would like to know why your companies pricing has sky-rocketed into retail pricing or HIGHER! shirts should NEVER be more than $6 in goodwill stores. Instead I see them marked at $10-$30 not to mention certain items that CLEARLY came from dollar store being marked up to $5 or furniture being $200 - this is an absolute outrage and I don't want to hear "it's because of re-sellers" no. Who cares about them. They're making a living, leave it alone. What happened to the good days when family's on tight budgets could go into goodwill and get a new wardrobe for $20-$30??
This company literally gets EVERYTHING that they sell FOR FREEE!!!! but they wanna charge $30-$50 for a Pair of USED SHOES or $100 for a t.v that MIGHT work?? Or clothes that are heavily used/ torn, stained and they want $15-$30 for it? Are you serious goodwill?
EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP PAYING THESE OUTRAGEOUS PRICES SO THEY'LL FINALLY REALIZE THEY NEED TO DROP THESE PRICES! ?
Especially now more than every considering half of America is struggling to stay in their homes or have already been evicted and no longer have home. This is the highest inflation has been since the 80s or something. NOW... I don't agree with any company raising pricing unless it's literally the only way they stay profitable. But GOODWILL? ( YOU'RE NOT A FREAKING RETAIL STORE!!! YOU TAKE IN 'FREE' (IF I COULD MAKE IT LARGER I WOULD. HERE. I'LL SAY IT AGAIN. FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE! YOU GET YOUR CRAP FOR FREEEEEEEEEEE WHY YOU CHARGING SO MUCH?!?

I was here at this location to donate perfectly good furniture and was told they can't take anything because it's "dirty". Yes furniture can collect dust. It was a waste of time, just take your stuff to the dump!

I'm sad to say, but my donations will be going elsewhere. This Goodwill has signs, clearly visible, directing donation traffic to the unloading area. EVERY SINGLE TIME I enter correctly, wait my turn to pull forward, someone disregards the signs and pulls right in front of me, cutting me off. The Goodwill staff stand there and watch. They say nothing. I was there 2-2-24 @ 10:25.
