I was shopping around for a professional firm to help me with my small business needs, so I called Kuenzi. I was never able to get further than the receptionist unfortunately. She informed me that she could email the management team for them to discuss if they could take me on as a client and I should hear back in a week or so. She was not friendly and quite frustrated that I wasn't just giving my number for her to move on with her day. Huh? I then asked if they were taking on new clients? She said not really but if I wanted to wait the week it was possible they could take me on as a new client. I asked her, an entire week just to find out if you can help me or not? She said yes and that she wanted to over deliver and not disappoint if it took more time for them to respond. Look, if your not accepting any new clients then say so because that is understandable and great that you are so busy. To wait a week to see if a simple CPA can take you on is insane to me, what business operates that slow? So I called around thinking I must not know how this industry works, but to no surprise it is just this business. I called five other firms and was either told up front and politely that they are not accepting clients or how could they help me. So, I went with one that said they were happy to help, which makes me feel that they will work hard for me and my needs rather than put me on a back burner, so to speak. It seems that a front line person to a business is more important than we think and a little training and good customer service goes a long way.
