My son and I used to shop here regularly upon moving to salem, looking for a place as we left due to severe stalking and vandalism to my apt as well as my vehicle, we got out jobs and did extended stay at the hotel nearby, we were eating in my car waiting to drop my son off at work, a security gaurd followed us there and made us leave while eating food we just purchased there! Very shitty experience, also this creepy worker who offered me to rent from him was seen regularly pacing the premises of the hotel I stayed at. I'm guessing he was up to something and called on us.

Literally the most embarrassing thing happened to me an my sister one of the cashiers name Jason have us the biggest attitude horrible customer service I asked for his supervisor and he would not call his supervisor never going there again

Went to mega foods bought these last night. One was placed on the other two as a cover because the top one looked good, so as I went to open it I noticed the mold on the other two on the bottom ones. Flipped the top one and sure enough mold. Mega foods is crazy to think it’s okay to sale this. Just throw it away. Why rob people of money?What a joke, never buying anything from there again.

Food for less is normally okay. I usually come
here for their bakery. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming here anymore for that. I was on my way to the bakery section, and I see flys flying around. Which grossed me all the way out. I didn’t even touch the handle. I don’t know if anyone else would still grab from this, i know i wouldn’t.

The prices of the things you find in most stores are a little high here but I almost gave five stars anyways just because of their fresh tamales, fresh salsas, and their pastries. Those are the things we come here for. The tamales and the salsa verde are top quality and the selection of pastries is great. The Bavarian cream filled (that look like little sugar covered burritos lol) and the pineapple filled triangle pastries are our two favorites. The employees are very nice too. I'm really happy with how late they are open. They still have a good selection of fresh foods even right before closing.
