I booked this hotel about a month in advance for a family trip with my little kids to the state fair. Paid in full in advance, but when I arrived (just after 10pm) I was informed that they didn’t have a room for me. They said reservations aren’t guaranteed and that if you hadn’t already paid that they didn’t save a room. I showed my receipt for having paid and he said he still didn’t have a room for me (he was actively checking in someone to the last room while telling me all this).
I definitely won’t book Motel 6 again knowing that my room isn’t actually guaranteed. I understand the front desk person is just an employee following policy, but giving away rooms of guests who reserved and have already paid is a pretty poor policy.

Great place to stay with pets. The hardwood floors make it easy, just bring the dogos a bed or blanket. Just no tissue to blow your nose if you have allergies.

There was a child in the room above ours who ran and jumped late into the night. It sounded like a herd of elephants. Multiple rooms had the strong odor of dope. We won't be back.

Im going to be completely honest this hotel had quite a few dents/holes and the pool was closed, but despite all that the service was top notch and the room was very spacious. We reserved a room with 2 double beds and to my surprise they had the beds in 2 separate rooms which made it feel even more spacious. The location was a little peculiar but still safe. Overall it was a good experience!

The area feels really safe. Rates are decent. And the staffs are really friendly. I would stay here again.

Staff awesome! Definitely will be coming back. Dog potty area is small but adequate and staff does try to keep it clean.

I stay here often when in the area. The staff is always friendly and help get you the best possible rate. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. And pets are welcome at no additional cost unlike other motels. Good location that you can feel safe at if traveling alone.

I gotta hand it to them this time; I had a good stay, and even when I asked them if the room was ready even a second early, will they let me know because I had a very anxious dog in the car; BAM, we got in 4 hours early. The real shocker was the wifi signal was better than mine at home.

Rooms are falling apart, there are constantly people that are not housing at the motel hanging out in the parking lot, charging phones in laundry area. I am a big guy and
I was nervous going from my car to the room. Others that were staying also was very loud and kept us awake all night. Tom, don't worry about leaving a light on fire me.
All that said the on site staff were nice enough.

I just wanted to know if we could stay longer I had the money for it, but the lady continued to batter us About the room number because we assumed we were on the second floor that the number would be 224 and she continue to be rude to us and not let us talk her name was Gloria

This hotel was conveniently located for visiting the Capital. The room was clean and comfortable. On the map I noticed it was near a railroad track but was pleasantly surprised that it was not a problem and did not disturb my sleep. So- if that’s a concern for you - it was not noisy.
