This particular company raised their rates right out of a customer. No tickets or accidents but the bill kept going up.

Worst insurance I've ever had to deal with! The customer service was BAD! Always had issues with something and they always say "We'll give you a call back tomorrow" AND THEY NEVER DID!!!!! I've always had to call back to them to complain! So many managers, leaders, etc and NOT ONE could ever call back. Also, they gave me information of someone else's insurance and they kept transferring my calls to 4 different agents and not one knew why I got transffered to them. They were all confused. They also didnt insurance one of my vehicles for about a good 2 1/2 weeks, i was driving around with no insurance because they "thought" they out it in right. They can't take care of their customers but really good at collecting their money! I cancelled with them and the 1st ever phone call back from them was for me to electronically sign my cancellation papers. Wow!

They cancelled on us without any notice. All they said was they decided not to insure us anymore! Worst customer service ever!!

I always call in and have always had wonderful experiences with customer service. They helped me especially when I was studying abroad for a few months by lowering my premium, etc. I have noticed that with some people that start off sounding rude that if i'm nice then most of the time their tune changes. A note to anyone going in person: if your agent is rude ask for their supervisor, because unprofessional agents hurt business. Being overly polite and nice to these people usually leads me to have a better experience via phone or in person. After all, if you have to go over there heads to their bosses only they look like jerks. So, my experience with Nationwide has always been a positive one, and they've always been able to help me out. And they're cheaper than a lot of the other supposed leading insurance agencies.

i call this office at 5pm and state i have already been quoted and would like to sign up, they say, "we will wait for you"i get to the office and after going to the store to get change because he didn't have a cash register for change i notice the policy has the wrong name on it and i notify him of this immediatelyhe says, i put the name that is on your license, so i showed him my license and he stated okay, i will fix that tomorrow,I said, since it has full coverage can't i drive it anywayshe said in an angry tone "i am the agent, i have had a long day, DO YOU WANT THE INSURANCE OR NOT"as i thought to myself "do i want to pay for insurance in another persons name?"and i said "i don't care if you had a bad day, i am a telemarketer and everyday is bad for me, but i do not take it out on my customers, you have to think of it from the point of view of someone who doesn't know"i took my money and leftthat old Asian bastard will never see a penny from me
