I usually order these treats on Amazon for the convenience of free delivery, but I learned that Mud Bay also offer free delivery in the Salem area --- making the switch to a support a local company vs a monopoly like amazon is a no brainer IMO, and the money saving is a major bonus as well!! I am the type of person to always be early to...everything. today, unfortunately, I woke up late and was running late on everything. Kristen still kindly took my husky. She didn't have to do that, and I would've understood completely.
My husky has been labeled as unruly, nippy, and anxious and aggressive by multiple groomers. Kristen took her knowing this. My husky is older (9) and does have anxiety issues she's medicated for.
Upon picking up my elderly anxious husky...
I was greeted with a HAPPY DOG who looked like a puppy again! She was puppy soft, smelled amazing and showed no signs of distress. My dogs fur was NOT CUT OR SHAVED.
Kristen informed me she acted like a normal husky and wasn't unruly or unmaneageable. She took the time to brush out my mouthy husky and clearly treated her well. If you have a husky, Kristen is your girl. We are now scheduling every 8 weeks with her specifically. I take horrible photos but my dog looks amazing and she's so incredibly soft and I couldn't be happier with her groom!

Next to Papa Johns pizza, 3962 Center St NE A, SalemMy beautiful girl Olivia got spayed here and they did such a fantastic job. The wound from the surgery looked like the best I’ve ever seen out of all the cats I’ve gotten fixed throughout the years. Now that she’s all healed, you can’t even see where the wound was. She has minimal to no scarring. They treated her so well, I will definitely be bringing her back for needed future appointments.

After she had proper pain control I was able to clean the wound and out came a grass seed! I'm thankful I can spend the money that would have gone to an emergency vet or X-rays on toys for her instead while she recovers on the antibiotics and pain meds you guys provided. I'm also glad she didn't have to spend hours waiting for an emergency vet in pain.

My girl just came home today from a double procedure: dental extractions and a growth removal from her eye. Because of our past experiences, I was particularly concerned about the stress of the day. I was so impressed to see that the staff is incredibly well-informed on animal body language and safe handling techniques. They took the time to ensure she was comfortable and calm, which made a world of difference for her anxiety (and mine!).
The team was incredibly professional and handled these delicate procedures with such care; based on how she is doing so far, we foresee everything healing beautifully.
It is such a relief to finally find a team that combines expertise with true compassion and respect for a pet's well-being. If you’ve been searching for a vet you can actually trust, I cannot recommend them enough

They love daycare days and come home exhausted from the physical and mental stimulation. This is so important especially on rainy days. Every couple of moths I also have their nails trimmed while they are at daycare which make on less appointment I have to make and take them to. We love the dog bark!

Working with Lola was wonderful, she was so helpful in fixing all the areas needed: learning to walk w/o pulling, not being reactive to other dogs, how to greet people at the door, besides the normal sit, stay, down commands. Dexter became a calmer, happier dog and I became confident to walk him with out the fear of falling. On return my family drove with Dexter across country to their next duty station. They were amazed at his progress and his good behavior. We are all grateful to Lola!

We always pay extra to have the staff play with him for 15 minutes each day. I feel stress free about leaving him with them. The staff are very kind. He also did training and when we got him, there was a noticeable difference with jumping on people. We also always have time bathe him prior to pickup which is very nice. Price is very reasonable for the service.

Manila Fiesta should be a staple, today I tried the combination of Filipino noodles or pancit bihon with four pieces of delicious and crisply fried Filipino egg rolls with chili sauce to dip them in. Very craveable and nicely packed. Another dish that is good and flavorful is the fried milk fish, with a side of cucumbers, a tomato slice, steamed white rice and a dipping sauce of vinegar and diced onions. 249 Liberty St NE #140, SalemWe had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Cozy Taberna! We brought a party of 12 people to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and from start to finish everything was fantastic.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job taking care of such a large group. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and made the celebration even more special.
The food was outstanding. Everyone at our table ordered something different, and before long we were passing plates all around so everyone could sample each other’s meals. Every single dish we tried was absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find a restaurant where everything that comes out of the kitchen is that consistently good, but The Cozy Taberna pulled it off.
If you visit, do yourself a favor and order the bacon-wrapped dates, they were absolutely incredible and easily one of the highlights of the meal!
A huge thank you to everyone at The Cozy Taberna for helping make my wife’s birthday such a memorable occasion. We all had an amazing time, and we’ll definitely be back. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The winery has multiple areas to enjoy, including a barrel room with live music, a tasting room, a patio adorned with pizza, ovens, and lots of vineyards to wander through. There is a verse and well stocked menu with plenty of drink options. Their wine is some of the best I've had in the area and is an example of how good a Pinot Noir from Oregon can be. The people who work there are very welcoming and friendly, and made me feel right at home. They have good knowledge of their wines and offerings and have plenty of smiles to hand out. Their flight is affordably priced, and the poor is enough that you can really get a sense for what the wine taste like. Come with Friends, go by yourself, bring a dog, either way you arrive you are welcome

Evening Land Vineyards
4180 Lone Star Rd NW, SalemHad an awesome tasting at Evening Land. The property is absolutely beautiful and has some of the best views we saw in the Willamette Valley. We ended up spending way more time there than we planned because the atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming.
What really stood out was the hospitality. Everyone was friendly, down to earth, and genuinely excited to talk about the wines without making the experience feel intimidating or overly formal. We learned a lot, had some great conversations, and never felt rushed.
The wines were fantastic across the board, especially the Pinot Noirs. You can tell there’s a lot of attention to detail in both the winemaking and the overall experience.
If you’re visiting Willamette Valley, Evening Land is absolutely worth a stop. Great wine, beautiful setting, and some of the best hospitality we experienced all weekend.

Oregon Humane Salem Campus
4246 Turner Rd SE, SalemWe dropped off our Rileys food, toys, and leashes after he passed away. The staff were kind, and answered our questions. The location is around a bend in the road, and with our GPS, we were driving a bit slow because we had not been there before and didnt want to miss the turn. The place is quiet in the lobby and there was lots of parking. Riley was 16 and had a happy life!
