Zero stars. Go in at your own peril if you enjoy being racially profiled.
I'm looking at you: loss prevention officer and I suspect the manager, by the shoe section @ 2.30 on March 11, 2024.
I was shopping with my mom who was trying on running shoes. She accidentally activated the security alarm tag while trying one on. The officer initially seemed understanding and took the shoe saying he would go to turn it off.
Not only did he never return with said shoes, I overheard him saying to the female manager/employee that they should keep an eye on me. How did I know this? They only loudly stated "that one in the green coat" multiple times like I wasn't standing within earshot.
I respect your jobs involves having a healthy level of suspicion of everyone. But the instant and baseless profiling is uncalled for especially when there was nothing untoward about mine or my mother's behavior in the store.
We may be Asian but I can assure you I'm just a physician who is not a klepto. Just FYI.
Happy to not do business with you.

They never seem to have much of inventory their shelves all seem to be pretty empty the last couple of years, or they don't have a big verity of styles.

Dear Ross Dress for Less, I am a white woman in America. This past week, a friend of mine and I were in your store browsing and a female employee of your store was hanging clothes on racks. She came over to where my friend and I were browsing, put her arm right in front of my friend to hang something up and didn't even say excuse me first. How rude. It is very polite to say excuse me first instead of just reaching right out in front of someone. I hope she learns how to say excuse me first.
