We are traveling through Salem, but needed to stop at a nearby urgent care for an emergency call. Prescriptions were were written to Safeway Commercial St pharmacy. Wow, what a grumpy bunch of rude people, including the phamacist. Do you do training for this behavior?

This pharmacy is fantastic! Switched from Fred Meyer, some time ago, (they are the worst). I’ve had excellent service every time I’ve come in. They set up my prescription on auto refill and it actually worked. Something that FM never could manage over the 3 years I went there. Nice people here, very efficient. Thank you!

There is a female staff member who always seems like she is in a terrible mood. Has terrible customer service and is not friendly at all. I am sure other customers know exactly who I am talking about. I am considering switching pharmacies because of her.

This is my go to pharmacy for good reasons. The pharmacists are always extremely polite and very knowledgeable. They not only take the time to make sure you understand your medication, but also how it can affect you and what not to take with it. Something I've seen most doctors ignore to do. They will even try and simplify things by asking if you would like auto refill on your prolonged medication. I will never go to another pharmacy after the excellent service I've received here. Yes sometimes the cashiers can be a little blunt but I won't hold it against them due to the nature of the business. Thank you everyone at safeway pharmacy on commercial st for being so awesome

Usually fast and efficient. Never initiate a friendly greeting…just “date of birth?”, like automatons. Likely they live nearby, we’re your neighbors and your customers. Would it kill you to add a couple friendly words to your greeting?, like, “hello, may I ask your date of birth?” And then, “thank you for choosing Safeway Pharmacy”, instead of “next”. We do have a choice, after all. If you hate your job so much that you can’t be nice to your customers, then get another job! Find something that suits your personality, or lack thereof.

Excellent Pharmacy, amazing friendly staff that is very supportive, and timely refills. They are expert at working with your doctors when there is any kind of issue with the prescription, and even with working with the insurance as appropriate. If your prescription is needed urgently they can generally fill it while you pick up a few items in the store. Pro tip, if you are past due on when you need to take your medication and you pick it up here the Starbucks in the same store provides ice water for free. You can take your medication on the spot.

The pharmacist named Sheryl breached all of my personal information to my boyfriend’s ex wife through a text message and phone call. A full list of 5 very personal medications. Which in turn has also caused complications for my boyfriend and his daughter with his ex wife.The same pharmacist then refused to fill my prescription for my severely injured foot. My boyfriend who is from Egypt went to fill it for me, we think this lady is racist. She’s also trying to get revenge and give us a hard time because we turned her in for violating the hippa act.We spoke to the store director who told us that this pharmacist now refuses to see or service either of us again. This is clearly because she’s angry that she got turned in for messing up twice. The store/ company should be making it up to us and giving her a disciplinary action, instead we are being refused service when we did no wrong.We will ABSOLUTELY be speaking with an attorney and taking this further.

Disgusting service. Cheryl the pharmacist doesn't know what she's doing. This place has unbelievable amount of one star but yet the naive management (Cody store director) isn't able to fix the workers behaviors because he's not professional just like them.
