Usually fast and efficient. Never initiate a friendly greeting…just “date of birth?”, like automatons. Likely they live nearby, we’re your neighbors and your customers. Would it kill you to add a couple friendly words to your greeting?, like, “hello, may I ask your date of birth?” And then, “thank you for choosing Safeway Pharmacy”, instead of “next”. We do have a choice, after all. If you hate your job so much that you can’t be nice to your customers, then get another job! Find something that suits your personality, or lack thereof.

Excellent Pharmacy, amazing friendly staff that is very supportive, and timely refills. They are expert at working with your doctors when there is any kind of issue with the prescription, and even with working with the insurance as appropriate. If your prescription is needed urgently they can generally fill it while you pick up a few items in the store. Pro tip, if you are past due on when you need to take your medication and you pick it up here the Starbucks in the same store provides ice water for free. You can take your medication on the spot.

The pharmacist named Sheryl breached all of my personal information to my boyfriend’s ex wife through a text message and phone call. A full list of 5 very personal medications. Which in turn has also caused complications for my boyfriend and his daughter with his ex wife.The same pharmacist then refused to fill my prescription for my severely injured foot. My boyfriend who is from Egypt went to fill it for me, we think this lady is racist. She’s also trying to get revenge and give us a hard time because we turned her in for violating the hippa act.We spoke to the store director who told us that this pharmacist now refuses to see or service either of us again. This is clearly because she’s angry that she got turned in for messing up twice. The store/ company should be making it up to us and giving her a disciplinary action, instead we are being refused service when we did no wrong.We will ABSOLUTELY be speaking with an attorney and taking this further.

Disgusting service. Cheryl the pharmacist doesn't know what she's doing. This place has unbelievable amount of one star but yet the naive management (Cody store director) isn't able to fix the workers behaviors because he's not professional just like them.

If I could give NO stars, I would.Yesterday I use their new app, requested my Rx be delivered Yesterday(yes request was done before 11am!) Paid $9.99 extra for SAME DAY delivery. Then I wait and wait and wait, no text update saying they picked it up and are on their way. I called at 345pm yesterday and they verified I paid for it and I should have it within 2 hours. SHOCKER it's now 1130am NEXT DAY and still nothing delivered.I called and spoke to Amy who said yeah it was filled and we are just waiting for someone to pick it up, sorry. I ask so are you refunding my payment for Same day delivery and she said no, you can come pick it up and then we can refund. I don't have an effing car so I can't come get it! I said so are you going to complain to your third party because this continues to happen. She said no, it's a technology thing and nothing we can do. I said so NOBODY is responsible over there? She didn't say anything. I said well I guess I need to look elsewhere because your technology isn't working which makes it useless. What kind of bs is this?? Seriously? Nobody is held accountable but they take your money!! Also reporting to the BBB!

Had a terrible time picking up the prescription my doctor had called over to them. That I NEEDED! They kept telling me they couldn’t release it to me. They were not helpful at all. Had to contact my Doctor three times and he had to call them three times before I could pick it up. Hopefully all will go well after this.

These staff are busy all day long to keep up with the demand. Im always impressed with their ability to come back day after day with that intensity.

All I wanted was 2 or 3 flowers .. just something simple, but not roses. Pretty simple. My only choice was to buy a full arrangement. The clerk had no alternatives. Full arrangement, or nothing. I picked out the 3 flowers I wanted, and tossed the other 8.
Although the clerk will never know, I will. When I drive by Safeway on my way to winco, I’ll have my reasons. When I gas up at arco, I’ll know. When I buy wine at Trader Joe’s, I’ll know.m

This particular pharmacy has gone above and beyond in helping track down meds from doctors and transferring scripts based on our locations and needs. Our fav pharmacist even says hello when we run into each other around town. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the occasional staff member with a bad day or scrip order delay. Nobody’s perfect.

The gas station at this location has no desire to provide customer service. They are rude - especially the black chick. Point out that the other employees are standing around talking will get you asked to leave. Yet another excuse to not pump gas.

This place is 100 percent incompetent. Lies about prescriptions and calls. Refusal to do their jobs. I wonder how many people have gotten sick or died due to their ignorance and incompetence.I spent roughly 12k a year at Safeway and pharmacy. I will never shop at Safeway or the pharmacy ever again and will take my business someplace that values customers and pharmacy patients.
