Rude staff. For ever wait times. Say an hour but take 2 plus the wait in line which takes forever. Go elsewhere for service. This Safeway is terrible. All the other ones are great..

By far the worst pharmacy I’ve been to. I understand having to a long wait. The issue it that every time I try to pick up my prescription after getting a notification saying it ready my prescription is not ready… they’ve also had continued issues with their system not accepting my insurance. Unfortunately they are the only ones that my insurance covers.

Never had any problems with this pharmacy they are always great. I always request refills when I have about a weeks worht left of medication at my doc office, and then safeway texts me when it's ready for pick up. I think majority of people don't plan aheaf and wait until the run out. Now its an emergency or they dont know a lot about insurance and drug coverage and take their anger out our on the poor pharmacy technicians and pharmacists! Great job guys, we appreciate you, I know it's probably not the easiest job. ;)

Worst service. Staff is unfriendly. Wait time is awful. I recommend not using Safeway pharmacy.

Medications were called in by 7pm on the 24th, at 12:30 the 25th they still weren't filled. The customer service skills of the staff are non existing. Website says they close at 9pm however they were closed at 7:30pm. This is not the first time my mother had to have huge lapses in her pain management due to this pharmacy. In a care facility these would result on am APS investigation.

Excessive lines and waits. Second clerk rarely present but desperately needed. Pharmacy line blocks aisles it's so bad. It's been bad and not addressed.

They keep forgetting to fill my medication, even though I have requested it twice and the doctors office has called to confirm that they have the prescription-- it's been nearly a month at this point. It's just the latest in a series of terrible service. I'll be switching to a new pharmacy.

The pharmacists are treated poorly by so many “customers”. They have been understaffed and overworked like other healthcare facilities and are there for our convenience, not as a courtesy clerk. That’s why they don’t upsell items or offer candy bars at the counter. The line gets so long at pharmacies. All of them. They don’t choose to make you wait. They want you out of the line just as fast as you do. Try to consider them before yourself. We all should.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Could have driven to Dallas and been back to W Salem by the time it took me to move 4 people in line. Slowest pharmacy ever. This is why I hate using their pharmacy. But had to for antibiotics. Don't go here. Seriously.

3 times I've tried to get (not controlled substance) meds delivered. They never answer their phones and the deliveries never show up. When I go in I'm told they attempted to deliver but I didn't answer. My door bell is loud, I am LISTENING for knocks, and I am 100% home during these times. Their service is awful and I am switching pharmacies.

No matter how much I call in advance they never fill my prescription on time. I have consistently gone without my needed daily medicine because they refuse to answer their phone and messages. It's always "Their system has an error" "We just started filling it". They should be closed down. Its not our fault that you're understaffed and cannot handle the job. We as patients have done nothing, yet we get attitude when we ask "Where's my medicine".

By far the most frustrating pharmacy I've used in 20 years. Their hours are posted, however, they shut down for "lunch" around 2pm (or so I've been told), however, I cannot find this posted anywhere. I've been told I cannot stand in line to wait because they need to shut down for lunch. I was also told to go shop for an hour. I understand breaks and lunches, however, the pharmacy either needs to change their hours officially or figure out how to staff themselves so the pharmacy is open their posted hours. I've tried to miss this "lunch" multiple times. Yesterday was the most recent, and, oddly, when you're open on Sunday 10am-4pm, why are closing for lunch? There were also no signs posted anywhere at 2:30pm clarifying why they are closed during their posted open hours. It is frustrating this is the closest in-network pharmacy at 16 minutes away.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. The last 3 months I've gotten messages saying my sons medication, which he NEEDS daily to function, is ready, but when I get there they make me wait 30-60 minutes before telling me they don't have enough to fill it. I call 7+ days in advance to fill it. They refuse to do a partial fill. They can't transfer it to any pharmacy other than another Safeway, which also doesn't have any. I have Lupus and can't travel far for meds, but they refuse to deliver even with signatures. Do not go here.
