I'm giving a 2 star because it's so dirty ,that entryway carpet has got to go ,do some pressure washing around garbage cans,clean up outside of building, put some fresh barkdust down ,I could go on but I believe I've made my point,,, it should look alot more inviting, don't blame it all on location, take pride and clean up your store

The Safeway has a lot of interesting people hanging outside & by the doorway at night. Little better then it has been in the past.

Super clean store, excellent product selection. Staff gp out of their way to help you find d the right product. Prices are very competitive too. Great place to shop. I can't wait to go back there again.

The deli at this safeway is by far the worst everytime I come to his deli its always a bad experience I have tried to give them a couple chances but I will never again come to this safeway
1 issue Sandwiches never stocked.
2 issus jojos and straps are never fresh I understand cooking them and they sit but everytike I came for jonos and straps they are hard barley and barley warm.
3 issue the workers in the deli have the worst attitudes ever and never make me feel welcomed.
4 they never want to make fresh sandwiches everytime I have wanted a sandwitch I have been told sorry I can't make one right now you can grab one from the packaed sandwich section that barley has any sandwiches stocked anyways .

This Safeway is Freezing produce like strawberries... Bought a whole 2 lbs and the whole thing was completely frozen.. Unacceptable then I called and the "manager" Tina was rude to me when I asked why they are frozen ended up hanging up on me... Again unacceptable and unprofessional

Clean store. Friendly employees. Might be small and in a rougher area of Salem, but it's a pleasant shopping experience even at 10 pm.
