If I could give the clinic a 0 I would. I go in to have my doctor sign papers ands that’s exactly what DIDNT happen. Ok so my appointment is 15 minutes and the doctor doesn’t have time to go through 6 sheets of paper work? So my insurance is suppose to pay for you to do nothing and waste my time?

If you want doctors to gaslight you about medical conditions you have already been diagnosed or treated you like you're out of your mind for being sick this is the place to go! I was diagnosed bi-polar without any psychological testing by a family medicine doctor. I've been tested and turns out I'm not bi polar just a victim of a bad diagnosis for no reason other than the lack of care for me. After that interaction, I was told if i didn't want migraines then I wouldn't since its all in my head. When I asked for a referral for a renal specialist I was told no that my new(ish) primary who had no idea about my kidney disease when we first spoke about it, he refuses because he wants to see me instead. The guy who had no idea about my kidney disease wants to be the one to care for me while I'm having issues with my kidneys? I feel like this is where people go to slowly die from horrible care.

I recently took my 15-year-old son in Because his throat was hurting And he was having a hard time swallowing and felt like his tonsils were swollen. Dr. Terry treated us very poorly. She asked us if we had any sick people in the family I tried describing that we had all been sick over the last 2 months and that myself and my son had both had antibiotics earlier around the end of November and seemed to get better. But I think she took this as we were in her office to get her to prescribe antibiotics because her whole Attitude changed, and she treated us miserably. She Ask me what kind of lab test I would like to have done as if I’m a doctor. She barely looked in his throat, barely listened to him describe symptoms and said she doesn’t see anything wrong. And told us to get a strep test and that was it. We left feeling like the visit was worthless and we were treated terribly not just by her. I have been in this urgent care before and seen in a male Doctor Who was awesome. It was very nice and actually listened and made us feel like we were people so not all of them are bad.

Just a heads up. "Urgent care" is actually false advertising. You need to get an appointment so if it's truly urgent don't waste time and go to an emergency room. I drove all the way in from Stayton and had to turn around and go home to the emergency room. Should be described as a clinic for those without a primary care physician.

I hurt my knee a little over two months ago and I was hoping to get some answers on what I did. The doctor who saw me wiggled it around a bit, asked me to walk around (there is no space to walk around in a small office) gave me a useless brace for it, prescribed me medication, and referred me to physical therapy. He told me straight up that knee injuries are complicated and he didn’t know what was wrong so they would figure it out in PT.I have tried to change my referral to PT Northwest, and the doctor is refusing to sign off on it since it is not connected to Salem Clinic. I have been walking around for TWO MONTHS on an injured knee. I have called twice a week every week asking for my referral status and they strung me along each time. After getting off the phone today, they said that there is not much they can do since the doctor won’t sign it and to go somewhere else.Do not ever go here. They will not take care of you.

I had a very disappointing visit with Dr. Vishwakarma. He was walking out the door before I was even done talking. I've only had one other doc so rude and I dropped him that day. There are good doctors out there, but where are they?

I called prior to scheduling an appointment and was told to come in to potentially snag a canceled appointment which I was successfully able to do. But, when I came for my scheduled appointment I was denied services because my insurance couldn't be found and I didn't have $400+ in my bank account for a "deposit"! The lady was extremely rude and inconsiderate!!

I think it is very telling that most of the good reviews are a year or more old. These guys wouldn’t see me because the injury happened three days ago and not within 48 hours. Three stars? Not within the last year.

This office is a joke. They let you run out of your prescriptions and won’t refill them for weeks. Not to mention they always were saying I owed them money for something when I didn’t. Rude and not helpful staff.

Salem Clinic is one of the most incompetent billing staff I've ever come across. They billed my insurance for the wrong thing. They charge me over $300 for an appointment that should have been under $20. I called them over 6 times with ZERO help. When I called my insurance they tried to contact billing at Salem Clinic, and Salem refused to fix it. Although Dr. Stoessl is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. It's just unfortunate he works for such an awful and incompetent place.

They will not let you switch providers if your current provider is not a good fit. They have a blanket policy currently that nobody can switch doctors, no exceptions.

This is one of the hardest clinics to get assistance from or any type of follow through from the medical staff. Extremely slow response time from certain PCP's. It's a struggle every month to try and get prescriptions filled. My husband has a specific medication that has a nationwide shortage. I have to call multiple pharmacies to see who has the medicine in stock. Once I finally find a pharmacy who has the medicine, I call the clinic to have a script sent. Hours later to even days before a PCP will respond. By the time they drag their feet to send a script, that pharmacy is already out of the medicine and I am starting the process all over again. I am beyond frustrated. I am basically doing their job for them, they could at least have the respect to follow through on sending scripts in a timely manner. It is a blatant neglect of patient care.
