Shannon has been doing my hair for several years. I am always happy with the cut and color. My hair is somewhat challenging and Shannon gives me tips on how to make it better. The atmosphere of the salon is comfortable and friendly but still professional in the services they provide.

Shannon Wittnebel has been my hairdresser for many years. Shes knowledgeable with design, technique, and care for my hair. I appreciate that every time I go, my color looks just as great as it did on my last visit! Her years of experience is what I love and appreciate! Not to mention how fun she is to talk with and solve all the world’s problems in a couple hours. You’ll love her too!

We’ve been going to Shannon for almost 15 years for our hair, and she’s simply the best! She always takes the time to listen to exactly what we want, whether it’s a subtle change or a completely new style. Shannon stays on top of the latest hair trends, and her cuts are always fresh and flattering. On top of that, she’s incredibly personable, making every visit feel like catching up with an old friend. We trust her completely with our hair and can’t recommend her enough!

I left Salon Argent feeling like I was not listened to. I had high hopes considering all the recent five star reviews. My stylist was one of the co-owners. When I sat down I specified that I don’t use heat tools on my hair, since I have curls/waves. I wasn’t asked how I wanted my hair styled at all, just what kind of cut I wanted. The stylist then proceeded to wash my hair, the scalp massage was nice and relaxing, but the problems started once I was in the chair again. After my hair was washed, my hair kind of fell to one side, so the stylist blow dried it that way. When I mentioned that I prefer a middle part, she said “Tiktok just tells us that we need to have a middle part” and laughed. She proceeded to ignore my request and blow dry a sideways cowlick into my hair. She continued to style it with a side part despite my multiple mentions of wanting a middle part. Eventually I just asked her if I could part my hair myself, which was a struggle because the cowlick was blowdried and straightened into it. She then proceeded to straighten all my hair so that she could “make sure everything was even”. During the straightening she once again gave me a side part with the way she straightened it. I’ve had numerous haircuts and they’ve never needed to straighten my hair to make sure its even, because they cut it when it’s wet.
I felt very frustrated by this experience. I understand that you have 20 years of experience cutting hair, but I would like to be listened to when it’s the hair growing on my head. I left the salon not actually knowing how this haircut would look on my hair day to day because of how it was styled. When asked what I thought of my hair I mentioned this, and was once again blown off. I will unfortunately not be returning to this salon.

Joe is the most AMAZING stylist. I was a stylist myself for years, so I'm pretty picky about who does my hair, so I've been going to Joe for years. We've done some fun colors & he does razor cuts which in my opinion is the best technique for short "Pixie" cuts like mine, he also does great with long hair & I've seen some really beautiful cuts & color on his long hair clients.
The salon is clean & beautiful & under new ownership as of May 2024, so any reviews prior to this date do not apply to this group of stylists.
They offer really nice products that are affordable & are made by smaller companies that care about their customers. Joe has never been high pressure to buy his products, but he will make recommendations. I've always loved everything he's recommended.
The other stylists in the salon are also very good, and very friendly. You won't go wrong by choosing any of these great stylists!

This salon is AMAZING! Interior is gorgeous and you can even sip a glass of wine while you get your hair done. Jessica has been doing my hair for years and this place of which she is part owner is by far the most fabulous! I look forward to getting my hair done and the product they sell is off the charts! My hair has never felt so good after a color. Love!!

Jessica has cut my hair several times she is superb very knowledgeable. I hear others are just as great Jessica and two other just opened this salon. She came from Lavish studios salon so I followed her! Highly recommend.
