I recently had to switch banks and natalie was very kind helping me setup my account. She also made it clear how to use the app along with how to use its accessibility features before I left! Very friendly people who were patient and helpful.

Service was okay, one of the ladies came off as rude and not helpful but the other lady that was working with her was very nice and helped us answer questions when the first one was being unhelpful. We have a loan through SELCO and I use the ATM there regularly since my bank is on the other side of town. The ATM is very easy to use but I am always very sketched out in the area it is.

Probably the worst financial institution that I have used. Poor communication, surly attitude and unwilling to correct mistakes on their part. Sent my credit rating from 800+ down to 650.

I was able to resolve a charge on my debit card with the information supplied by their staff member. They have always been forthcoming with information and assisting their members.

I enjoy banking at Selco, but when you actually work full time during the week and have no way to bank on the weekend, it makes it challenging. I don't like having to use my vacation time to do banking business. You might consider opening for a half day on Saturday for those of us that have full time jobs.

If I could give negative stars I would. This bank should be called “Bank of the hidden fees and false charges”, I bought a car at a dealership and Selco took the loan. I had insurance on the car before I left the lot. I submitted document upon document for proof of insurance to Selco and they still charged me $617 for “lapsed insurance”. After jumping through ever changing hoops, hours on the phone and in person at the bank I finally got it resolved. They then said I would be charged $200 if I did not sign up for digital banking, so I did that. Then they said I would be charged $200 if I did not sign up for e-statements. After having the loan for only 4 months they had tried to charge me over a thousand dollars in fees and false charges. Today I dipped into my savings and paid it off just to get away from them. All around worst experience EVER! Do your research Selco has horrible reviews all over the internet with similar experiences. I am looking into reporting them to a governing agency. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM you will be met with hours of waiting on the phone for customer service only to get misinformation, rude unprofessional employees in the bank branch, no one will know the answers to your question or if you do get answers, they will change every contact you have with them.

I tried to make an appointment to meet with Lishelle Rankin at the Salem branch to pay off the loan as I had some questions. She refused to make an appointment and told me I could just walk in and meet with a teller. When I got there and was working with the teller Lishelle came up from the back insisting I talk with the manager. I repeatedly told her I was just here to pay off the loan and was trying to deal with the teller. She continued to butt in and was protesting she had "went above and beyond" for me because she got a $50 fee reversed. She made a huge scene and would not leave me alone to complete my transaction with the teller. I repeatedly told her I was not here to argue and just wanted to pay off my loan. She was hostile and confrontational the whole situation was highly unprofessional. I couldn't get out the there fast enough.

I've been dealing with Selco for a couple of years now and they've been great. Carina is an absolute joy to deal with and she has always done everything to get me the lowest interest rates possible. Recently we yad to purchase our teenager a used vehicle to get back and forth to school in and she was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this credit union.

Phone wait time was over 50mins. The agent then hung up on me when they answered. I recommend you go through a different credit union. The app is also outdated and almost never works. They have a way of get you to sign up only to never being available to answer questions or resolve issues. Worst credit union out there for sure!

I love Selco, I have been a member for awhile and I am very pleased with them. I travel a lot with work and never have trouble with my banking.
